WoW!!! that was really interesting and deep.
I love the line:
Was child’s play always
More to him than just a game?
That is a great ending.
Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Thank you!
Wonderful Poem! You found the questions that are correct for the character. How different would Tom have turned out if Merope had been strong enough to live without Tom Sr. Thanks for the enjoyment!
Author's Response: You're more than welcome. :-) It's an interesting hypothesis... and one I might turn into a story.
Another fantastic poem! I think the first stanza is great, and connects it nicely to the title. I really like the questions, however - they are spot on and really explore the character of Tom Riddle and how he became Voldemort. I particularly like: "Did we seal his fate?" I'm curious how you might answer these questions. ;) Wonderful job! ~Gina :)
Author's Response: Hee hee... I might have to answer these questions in a little ficlet I think. Thanks for the review. Your words are always heartening.
It's good to see our friendly poetry moderator is in the game again. There seems to be something about winter that inspires you to write poetry. Maybe the winters are nicer in England than they are in Canada? I really enjoyed this poem, especially the last two lines, very clever methinks.
Author's Response: I don't know what it is about winter! LOL. Maybe I'll have to write some spring poems full of sap rising and flowers budding. *giggles* Thank you for the review!
Very good, I like poems that make me think, especailly (I spelt that wrong didn't i.) ones about Voldemort - like mine! (lol) anyway this is very good!
