Very well written! If Harry can escape an Imperius Curse than Dumbledore can too. Here is a mistake I caught on.
"They didn’t know how to take of him and work as full-time Aurors." There should be "care" after the word "take".

It's very promising - keep it up. Not sure I think Dumbledore could be easily imperiused either, but I'm sure the Longbottoms will find out all. One thing I found confusing - who's Billy?

Author's Response: Oh ha. That was stupid of me. I changed Billy to Gawain Robards halfway through writing it. Thanks for catching it.
