Brilliant! I've been on a RemusXTonks kick lately and this fic is one of the best that I've read :3
And I've read about fifty, so... heh!
Woooooooo hooooooooo! You favourited my story so I thought I'd come and review yours. It was a brilliant one-shot, and it's put a huge smile on my face. x
Author's Response: Wow, thanks!! I absolutely loved "How To Love A Werewolf", and I'm flattered you liked my silly little one-shot :P R/T forever!!
Ahhh! This is so great! Good job!
Author's Response: XD Thanks!!
Author's Response: Lol, thanks! This is just a one-shot, but check out my other Remus/Tonks fics :D
Ha! That was really cute!
Author's Response: Lol, thanks! XD
I am still laughing. I postively love this story. Absolutely brilliant and hilarious. Would you be willing to tell me what Remus' drink was spiked with? Because when someone accuses his best friend of getting horny with his cousin, then something is wrong. Butterbeer doesn't do that (well, except to house elves). Hilariously awesome story, and it will be going to my faves. :D
Author's Response: Lol, thanks! I always think of Remus as something of a lightweight when it comes to drinking ;) Thanks for your review!!
this story was strange,but good.
Author's Response: Lol, thanks! :)
LOL that actually made me snort with laughter. Not attractive at all. and 'bleh'? really? ;)
Author's Response: Hmm, yes, doesn't sound attractive ;) 'Bleh' is one of my favourite words :D Thanks for the review!
I love this story. no matter how many times i read it!
Author's Response: :D Thank you!! It's incredibly flattering that someone would want to re-read my stories, so thanks!!! :D :D :D
love it. Lupin and Tonks are prefect for each other!
Author's Response: :D Thank you!! Totally agree, Lupin and Tonks are a match made in heaven!
hahahahahahahaha, Remus is really funny when he's drunk! seriously, whenever I imagine Remus drunk, I imagine him doing something utterly embarrassing....like actually marrying Tonks! Now that would be funny! really good story!
Author's Response: LOL, now that would be awesome - a drunk Remus/Tonks wedding!! :P Thanks for your review!!
This was SO awesome! I loved it! aah Moony, good ol Moony... he had 2 make up an excuse one way or another...
I LOVED IT! HILARIOUS!
Author's Response: :D :D :D Thank you!! Moony is probably my favourite Marauder...though I do love Padfoot...MoonyPadfootMoonyPadfootMoonyPadfoot*head explodes* Nah, it's too hard to choose. Thanks for you review!!
Author's Response: :D Thankyou!
you are so right!
i mean, WHO can die by falling through a veil? and harry heard voices from there... he can't be dead! he must come back!
ys, much more tonks/remus time in seventh book please!
Author's Response: :D :D :D Sirius Black, killed by drapery?! Absurd!! Y'know what would be a great way to have more Remus/Tonks in Book 7? A nice big happy wedding!!! :D
FINALLY someone that has the same wishes as i do!
a book about sirius, i don't care how the hell he manages, but i just want him to come back... though that's imposible, thanks to JK.
a book about Remus and Tonks, how fantastic, and no, REMUS just CAN'T die in book seven! it's just imposible!!!
Author's Response: I STILL don't think Sirius is dead, he just fell through the veil!!! He'll come back!!! I'm sure of it!!!! OK, maybe he won't...but he can through the magic of fanfiction!! :D I'm hoping for lots and lots of Remus and Tonks in Book 7 :D :D :D They didn't get enough page-time in HBP! ;)
ah, yes, you see, i'm quite obsessed about sirius. oh gosh, don't get me started... *sigh*
well, remus is sooo sweet in this story, poor thing! tonks, well say this; she rocks. i just love those two, but Sirius is absolutely the most wonderful character ever... *sigh*
oh yeah, and yes, coke is important, very important! shame i cant take it, i mean, i'll get even more funny and crazy from drinking coke than drinking a beer, for heavens sake!
Author's Response: Now, if I had MY way, J.K. Rowling would write two more books after Book 7 - one, a prequel about the lovely Sirius Black, and the other, all about Remus and Tonks' happy ever after (there WILL be a happy ever after, Remus is NOT going to die in Book 7...)
“Oi!” Sirius sounded even drunker than before, his voice echoing in from the living room. “I ‘eard that!” There was a thud as he evidently passed out on the floor.
okay, love that. i don't know why, maybe i've just had a liiiiitle to much coke (it makes me funny, dunno why, don't ask), or it's just fun.
Author's Response: Lol, Coke is one of the four main food groups! ;) Very glad you liked drunken!Sirius, he was one of my favourites to write :D
i absolutly love this story. its great. thanks for the excitment- it beats revision and exams any day!!!!
Author's Response: Thankyou, and I know exactly what you mean! Screw revision, Mugglenet's much more fun!! :d Thanks for your review!!
Author's Response: Hmmm...that was meant to be a :D
*giggles* Okay, I must say that your start caught me completely off-guard. I love reading your original ideas, though, so I shouldn’t have been too surprised. The setting (a – did you call it a “hen party”? what I might refer to as a “bachelorette party”, perhaps?) in the Hog’s Head – is quite funny. As is Remus’s being annoyed by their presence.
Of course, she’d had time for Sirius two months beforehand, but according to Remus’ friend, that had been ‘a veeerryyy different story' *rugged wink*.
The formatting here is a little odd. The *rugged wink* seems a bit too much like chatspeak to me. I’d recommend changing it, awkward though that would be as well: “…but according to Remus’ friend, that had been ‘a veeerryyy different story’, said with a rugged wink and a broad smile.”
Yes, that was awkward, but maybe you’d be able to smooth it out the way I can’t.
A couple of minor grammar errors:
The woman who had first noticed him from the bar was slinking up to him, her gaze so forceful even Voldemort would cower in it’s presence.
“…her gaze so forceful that even Voldemort would cower in ITS presence”; no apostrophe is necessary.
Christ, was Sirius having girl over now?!
This should be either “a girl” or “girls”.
“What places, exactly, are you unfamiliar with?” He winced at the unintended innuendo in the words. Krissy smiled, showing teeth that reminded Lupin of piranhas.
Lupin smiled politely, mentally cursing himself into oblivion.
Inexplicably, Lupin found his blood boiling. What the hell is he doing drinking and laughing with my wife?! Horny little…
He shook his head furiously. What the hell does that barman slip into the Butterbeers at The Hog’s Head!?
So the first part got me laughing, and each successive paragraph had me laughing harder. I did not think you could pull it off. Shame on me for a lack of trust. It’s wonderful! It’s incredibly plausible: Remus blurts out the first thing that comes to mind (several times) and ends up “married” to poor Tonks. And then it brings out the feelings he doesn’t even know he has, yet, which in turn brings about the idea that he’s been drugged. He really needed a relationship. His reaction to seeing her with Sirius is priceless.
I can’t copy and quote the entire Remus-trying-explain-himself part, but it’s hysterical. Remus’ embarrassment comes over so naturally, as does the laughter of reaction. Drunk!Sirius in the background is lovely, as is “hearing” Remus’ voice go higher and faster and less understandable as he goes on.
I was expecting the story to end at this point, but I’m delighted to see that it goes on to a wonderfully fluffy, sweet conclusion. But for all that the ending is fluffy, the rest of the story is funny and light enough without being actually fluffy to keep it from being…totally fluffy. I love all the humour! Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thankyou very much!! I wanted to try my hand at writing humor, but in the end it seemed like more of a Remus/Tonks fic than a Humor fic - but I'm glad the humor seeped through anyway! ;) Yup, here in England I've only ever heard it referred to as a 'hen party' or a 'hen night', and for men a 'stag party'. Hey, 'stag party' would be pretty fitting for James, wouldn't it! :D Glad you enjoyed it, thansk again for your review!
Author's Response: *giggles* Merci!
