Oh, I love The Waste Land, and I'm so happy to find a poem that was based on it.
First, I'd like to say that you wrote the poem very well. You have a nice way of sequencing the lines. My favorite line was
And everyone's footsteps sound like a earthquake.
I liked the comparison of the footsteps to an earthquake.
This poem flows nicely for a free-form poem, and I applaud you for that. However, I do have to ask a question-- how does this relate to the Harry Potter universe? Either way, it's still a great poem.
Author's Response: Hey Vicki! I'm glad you liked The Waste Land...I liked it too. It relates to Harry Potter because it was about the gnomes that were in Chamber of Secrets...it was a Poerty Anyone? challenge, so... rnrnAnyway, thanks for the review!rnrn~Michelle :)
Teehee! That was really cute. The poem had a very nice flow, and I really enjoyed reading it.
One small nitpick: on the last line, you wrote there, but it should really be their. But other than that it was lovely. :)
Author's Response: Hey Anna! Thanks for the review! ♥ Gin
This was quite cute, Michelle! The gnomes being put into play was portrayed really great! You have a great knack for writing poetry! I wish I could. Very cute poem, girl!
Author's Response: Lindsey! *Squishes* Thank you! Wait a second....is this for the Badgeer Review Circle? *Checks* I knew it! *Shrugs* Well, I love reviews all the same! Thanks for the Lovely review, my Lovely Beta and fellow Insomniac, Hufflepuff, and a bunch of other thing that we have ion common! -Gin
That's really good! I wish I could write poetry.
Author's Response: Thanks! :]. You know, if you want to try to write a poem, it doesn't have to make sense or rhyme. I didn't know write to write on this story, I spent about 3 hours trying to put words together! ~*~ Gin_PotterGirl~*~
