Wow. I really liked how you managed to make the song fit so well with the plot and what was happening. I'm extremely impressed!
As for the story itself. . . another wow. It was amazingly. . . amazing. I can't think of words for it. . . you are a completely astonishing writer. You really are.
Author's Response: Thanks. Actually, I was thinking of re-writing it a bit better (creator's perfectionism). But I am glad you like it!rn
This story is so sweet in a sad, depressing way! I love the way you write, and I love this song (I'm learning to play it on the piano). Would the George from this be our honorable George Weasley, or a different one?
I feel so sorry for Brooke! I need comfort food...
Author's Response: Hey! I'm so glad you like it! Maybe it is him :) I don't know, I mean, I was thinking first war, not aftermath of the second one, but I haven't named eras. So, yeah, it may just be the beloved George Weasley (even if I was thinking of George Cooper from Tamora Pierce's books...>.>) And I promise to update make me better, I have it mostly done, just finish it up and send it to the Beta...
Nooo....I just wrote a long review, and for some stupid reason it got deleted.
Ok, your probably wondering why I'm reviewing again, but for some reason, I thought about this story today and just wanted to read it again, and I saw my last review was pretty terrible considering your story. So heres the proper one.
I've read a lot of stories with character deaths and sad endings, but this one just seems to be special. I mean you have introduced a character that no one knows about thus not being able to use the attachment that people have with the character.
What I find really heartbreaking is the fact that the mother relives the fact that her husband and her son were killed, and that there was nothing she could do. In the end, I felt a real attachment to her and couldn't help but feel her depression. This is clearly the best songfic I've come across (perfect match for the story).
It's hard to believe your only 14 and could write this well, just out of curiosity (and I don't mean to infringe, so ignore if you want), you said most of your stories are mostly centered around death and how people deal with it, are these stories in anyway related to your life?
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. As for stories relating to my life...I can feel the pain the people who lived in Voldy's time felt - I know what it's like to here about death day after day after day. I dream of becoming an oncologist - hence Lily's proffession, and I am at the moment writing a story (the third - and final - Lily story) that speaks of the situation my uncle was in. I am writing it in his memory. But other than that, not really. It's just because of my deppression - which has it's on and off seasons :) thanks for the review! ~Sunray
what was that about
i didnt understand
but it was good anyway
Author's Response: What did you not understand? I'm glad you liked it anyway, ~Sunray
Sad, but well written.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review!
