Chapter: Prologue : In Dreams

This is very interesting so far - I'd love to see more from the Sorting Hat's POV! And I love the monologue, too, it is very well written. One great example would be this:
Oh, you don’t want an owl. Well, you’ll just have to use one of the school’s, then — don’t worry, they’re quite nice, and most of them don’t bite.

Well, you should care! I got bit by one exceptionally nasty tawny once — still have a ripped stitch to prove it, though it’s in a very uncomfortable —

Oh, you still don’t care.

I was chuckling at that. I love how the Hat seems to be talking to me (except I knew what he was talking about. :-) Is it a guy, anyway? Oh, well.)

Hmm...at the top it says this is a prologue...will there be more, then? *sits at edge of seat* *looks extremely interested*

I love how this is written. Every word flowed into the next, and nothing deterred from the story. (meaning there were no blatant typos or word confusion.)

Wonderful job, and very creative!

Author's Response: Oh! My first review for months now... *fuzzyhappiness* Yes, there will be more, when I sit myself down and actually find time to write it. :) Thanks so much! ~Juliet

Chapter: Prologue : In Dreams

Very good. I have a short attention span today (well, shorter than usual), and have been trying to find something that held my attention. I found it. I love having the Sorting Hat as the narrator. I didn't expect that and I've never read a story written from that point of view. I like the way it's written, how the Sorting Hat is responds to someone else's comments. Wonderful!

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad I kept you interested... I've had those days. Much appreciated!

Hehe.. I love the idea of having the Sorting Hat as the narrator. I'm sure it loves having a chance to really strut it's stuff!

Author's Response: Oh, doesn't it? xD IThanks for the review - much appreciated!
