Oh, I loved this. I'm sorry to hear it isn't going to continue or anything, it's got potential. I love your writing, 'a heart under layers of black wool'...loved that. I loved many little snatches of it. And I liked the slight humor now and there. A very lovely story!

So your story- you're on my list of favorite authors, and for good reason. I like that Severus is drawn to Christine b/c she saw something in him that others didn't. I'm tired of all these stupid, improbable romances, where Severus is grumpy, sees a mildly average looking girl (although of course, her average-ness is only mentioned once and she seems like a supermodel every other time she's described) and immediately feels a connnecccttionnnn....their eyes won't snap apart...but then they're broken apart by the bustling crowd. Snape doesn't see the girl again for another 3 years, but his thoughts are constantly consumed by her. the soft rosiness of her average cheeks, the perfect curve of her collarbone...the entrancing spiral of her...ear. lol. you get the point. very atypical, hence very cool. =)
