LOL! I love this! I can totally see Arthur sneaking artifacts home...

I loved the image of Perkins at the beginning, swatting at it with a broom! I suppose it must be a little scary to them, poor things! Incidentally, what music was it playing? In my head, it's Eminem ("Without Me", perhaps?), but it'd be nice to know what you had in mind!

Signed; The Order of Ravenclaw House Elves

Author's Response: Oh, I'm sure Arthur sneaks things home all the time. *coughFordAngliacough* I'm glad you like Perkins swatting it with a broom; it was one of my favorite parts. I really don't know what music it was playing; I tend to leave some things to the imagination of the readers (simply because I'm lazy. ; P), but something like that is what I imagined would be playing. Thank you so much for the review!

This story is quite humorful. The confusion a wizard may have felt as he/she discovered a thing that emits funny humming sounds is quite funny and highly believable. I like the slight display of happiness Author shows at the end. You described it quite well and it seemed an Arthurish thing to do...

Author's Response: Thanks, Miki! I tried to write it in a very light and humorful way, without going too over-the-top. I tried to keep Arthur very IC, and I loved the end, because that seemed to portray him very well, to me, and I'm glad you think so too. Thanks so much for the review!

I really enjoyed this little piece. It really fits Arthur Wesley. He just loves anything muggle, and boy does this fit him to the tee. Please write more, and longer!

Author's Response: Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! I will be posting more stories soon, but nothing like this, at least not for a while. Thank you so much for the lovely review and encouragement!

Hi Chrissy! *waves* Great job with your first fic! I found it to be really cute and funny what with their confusion; you did a good job with the challenge. I also really liked the spin on the traditonal titles of the books. I thought it really added some humor! Just overall good job. =) ~Ren

Author's Response: *waves back* Thanks so much! I'm really glad you liked their reactions. I'm so happy you think I did a good job; I wasn't sure if I did or not. I'm usually terrible with titles, but this one just came to me and I really liked it. : P I love reading and writing humor stories, and I did everything I could to make this a funny, but not crazy, humor story. Thanks for the great review!

Hi! Nice job, and congrats on your first story! *tosses turnipy confetti into the air* I think you did a lovely job with this challenge prompt. I liked the object you choose, and it made for a great reaction from Arthur and Perkins. Most of all I liked the last paragraph - it was well written, completely in character, and a wonderful way to wrap it up. Good luck in the challenge! ~Gina :)

Author's Response: Thanks! I was a little nervous submitting my first story, but this challenge gave me the push I needed. *grabs turnipy confetti and sprinkles it on head* I'm glad you liked the "CP Layer." I really have no idea where the idea came from, because I rarely use any type of CD Player, though I do love music. Arthur was an obvious choice for a main character, but I'm still glad I chose him. *smiles fondly* I did like his reaction as well. As far as the last paragraph, I'm really glad you liked it, but a lot of the credit goes to Julia. She's the best at making my mediocre writing look good. : D Thanks so much for the wonderful review, and good luck in the challenge to you as well!
