There are alot of things that struck me when reading this fic. Not least was the thought that Draco may have life harder than Harry because he has to play the part he's been cast in whereas Harry does what he does because that's who he actually is. Thank you for giving Neville a moment of fame here, I loved him standing up to Snape, I wonder if he had done this in canon what would Snape have done. Draco's attitude at the end was a little 'if I have to do it then I'm gona do it well'. But I still think he chose what was easy.

that's so sad! I don't see them together realisticly in the books , but I feel that it could happen. I still think Draco's evil, but misunderstood and misled by Lucius. :)

I really liked this pairing, and thought it worked very well. I hope you do a sequel at some stage.

I liked it! It was different...not a pairing I would have ever thought of, but you pulled it off! Quite nicely must I add. The ending was a bit of a twist.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I know it was a weird pairing but it was a personal challenge to make it work. Draco has cried out to me as being so in need of affection throughout the books and that's how this came together...

Wow, this story was really something. Beautiful imagery. I like the dark ending

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it and really, the ending could not have been happy, they're just far too different.

The writing's good, and I've never pictured Draco and Neville together, funnily enough. Can't wait to read more.

Author's Response: I'm afraid it's a one-shot but there might be a sequal in the working... watch this space! Thanks for your review.

So very very sad but very well-written.I enjoyed it a lot.

Author's Response: Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it. It is a sad story but there was no real romance between either of them, it was more a matter of desperation and escapism.

I'm not sure wheather I liked it or not. Draco defiately waers a mask, but I'm not sure if I belive it has anything to do with his sexuality. Harry is totally out of character! Harry truly cares about Neville, therefore he would stand up for him. Also, if Draco seretly wanted to be a good person, why would he keep calling Hermione a mudblood? Did you purposefully want to show him as a hypocrete?

Author's Response: Draco may not want to become totally evil but it doesn't mean that he isn't bigotted and easily influenced. Prejudices are really hard to break so I don't think he should be seen as a hypocrite, just someone who has been brough up to think a certain way. As for Harry, what you need to remember is that this is totally from Draco's point of view and that he would never give Harry any credit. Harry may have talked to Neville after the lessons or done something to show his support but of course, Draco wouldn't care about this or show that he knew. I'll agree that Harry does care for Neville but it's obvious that he does become preoccupied with other people - he didn't even bother to find out why Neville lived with his grandmother until he accidentally discovered it in OOTP. Thanks for your review! Even if you weren't sure about the story, I appreciate the comments.
