a wane smile appeared on his tired face

I think you meant a WAN smile...

as he faced against impeccable odds

Here I think you meant INCREDIBLE or IMPOSSIBLE odds!

Awesome. Love it. I'm a girl of few words, and this was really good, I like the descriptions of Harry's thoughts and feelings, they're written in a very senciere(sp?) way. Good job!
