That was sooooo sad! I can't stop my tears even as I type this....... I hate the idea that Harry dies, but I have a very strong feeling that Harry and Voldemort are both going to die in the 7th book...
Author's Response: Hi! *hands out more Kleenex* I seem to be making a lot of people cry! Thank you so much for reading this story, I hope you liked it in spite of the sad, sad ending. It makes me sad as well, but like you said, I too have a strong feeling the end of Book Seven may be similarly bittersweet. Thank you so much for the lovely review!! ~Gina :)
omg that was brilliant..im crying as im typing and i can barely see the keyboard. excellent job.
Author's Response: Hi! *hands out more Kleenex* Thank you so much for the review! I know its sad, but in a bittersweet way. I'm so glad you liked it - thank you for reading this story and leaving a lovely review!! Now go read something fun. ;) ~Gina :)
*blows nose on hankie*
Now THAT was a tear jerker!
You're such a wonderful writer, Gina! I loved it - the ending was fabulous!
I would have never thought to re-unite Harry with his parents in a ghostly world - but it was beautiful!
I really cried - I hate you!
Author's Response: Aw, Ritta! *hands out more Kleenex* I'm sorry it was so sad for you! I don't know what's gotten into me, between this story and my August Challenge story it just keeps getting sadder and sadder! I've also got a thing for magical portraits, I think. ;) I am so happy you liked it, though. Thank you SO MUCH for reading this story and for your lovely reviews!! I really appreciate all your support. See you around Ravenclaw, and thanks again!! ~Gina :)
Fantastic!!! I didn't expect to see Harry again at the end. The final farewell he had with Ron was perfect as well as finally getting to see his parents. I agree with the other reviewers that most stories don't put much emphasis Harry's friendship he had with Ron and Hermione. I really enjoyed reading this spectacular and sad story.
Author's Response: Thank you!! I am so glad you were suprised by the end, and I am thrilled you enjoyed it, sad as it was. I just couldn't let Harry go without one last goodbye. *sniff* Thank you so much for following this story, and for leaving such great reviews. I really appreciate it, it just makes an authors day to see such kind words for their efforts.:) I can't say I hope you enjoy the rest since that is the end of this journey, but perhaps you will read some of my other stories, and I do hope you enjoy those. Thank you again!!! ~Gina :)
Wonderful story. I just found this today and it was a great read. I liked how even though you killed Harry off you made him reunite with his parents. Ron and Hermione's reactions were well written as well as their friendship with Harry. You have displayed Harry's character and his love for his friends wonderfully. This story was very well written, and sad ;) It was nice that you made Harry happy at the end...It would be great if you made a sequal when harry came back alive but this is a good place to end the story :) Great job and a 10/10!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the great review! I'm flattered, and thrilled you enjoyed the story. I know its sad but I 'm glad you liked it, especially the end where Harry is reunited with his parents. I'm also glad I was able to get Harry's character right, as well as his relationship with his friends, the latter was very important to me. I don't have any plans to write a sequel, but I have written and will continue to write many other stories! Thank you so much for reading this one, and for leaving a review!! ~Gina :)
Nice story. Incredibly sad, yes, but still very well-crafted. The whole concept of someone going back in time has become a fanfiction cliché, but it certainly did not seem so in this story! Nice twist on the norm!
Your details and imagery really make the actions and emotions of the characters come alive--I could easily picture the entire thing.
Also, another small thing--I like how you placed more emphasis on Harry and Ron's friendship. In 'Last Battle' fics, especially ones in which Harry dies, all the focus is on Harry and Ginny, as if Hermione and Ron don't mean as much to him and vice-versa. That has always bothered me. However, here, we definitely see their friendship coming out strong, espcially in that last chapter (as Harry says goodbye to Ron last and most emotionally). It's a refreshing change, and a necessary one, as well.
Once again, excellent read!
Author's Response: Wow, thank you for the incredible compliments!*blushes* I am so excited - I am thrilled you enjoyed this story, it has become very special to me. I am especially happy that you enjoyed the emphasis on Harry's relationship with Ron and Hermione. I love H/G stories, but really at the end of HBP we don't know for sure how strongly Harry feels for her; however, we do know that Ron and Hermione are his closest friends, and that he loves and trusts them more than anything. I think Harry would be devastated to lose one of them, and vice versa. The paragraph where Ron and Harry embrace is one of my favorites, I'm so glad you liked it, as sad as it was. Thank you once more for the wonderful review!! ~Gina :)
That was so sad. I was so happy when Harry was a ghost. I thought Harry would be a ghost like Binns but I knew it couldn't happen. I loved it.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! This might be one of the saddest things I've written, it made me teary to write Ron and Harry's final embrace. Thank you for reading the story, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really appreciate your review, thanks again! ~Gina :)
Well... gesh... I am totally impressed by the contruction of your story and a little teary! Well, I was teary during the previous chapter and this one makes me want to bawl like a baby! I also neglected to read the A/N the first time read through and thought this was the last chapter!! I was going to protest in my review, however, I now see there is a bit more to come! Thanks for a great story... keep writing... please:)
Author's Response: Thank you for the great review! I am flattered that you are impressed, and glad because as I've said many times - time travel is desperetely tricky!! This chapter makes me sad as well. I thought about ending with it, but decided there was one last thing I needed to do for Harry. I have finished the final chapter and hope to submit it this weekend. Thank you so much for reading this story, I am very glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for leaving such a wonderful review, I really appreciate it! ~Gina :)
Thank you so much for the mention! This ls fascinating. One would htink this was over, but obviously, it isn't....
And I was Right! SQUEEE!
I find what happened to the pheonix intriguing.
On the one hand, he seems to have died, bout, on the hother hand, he has sent his faeather back, as ihe did in OOTP when Dumbledore sent him to keep watch... And I find it very fitting that as Harry has grown past just being James's son, he grows into such an amazing patronus...
Waiting on tenterhooks for the next chapter!!!!
Author's Response: Hi again! Oh, I'm so happy you continued reading! Thank you so much for the great review! I'm glad you liked the bits with Fawkes and th phoenix patronus. I really tried to think this all through and am happy you enjoyed that bit. There is actually not too much to go, just one final chapter to wrap things up, and it is with my beta now. I'm rather proud of it, and this story. Thank you so much for reading it, and leaving a review! ~Gina :)
You killed Harry?! What is wrong with you?! lol. j/k
I love how you incorporated that drabble from the Three Broomsticks - lovely!
It really was a sad ending - but I'm a tad confused as to what happened - I thought he saved himself?!
Is Harry stuck in a time warp?
Author's Response: Hi Ritta! Thank you so much for reading this story! I often wonder what is wrong with me, as well. ;) My husband doesn't even want to read this story because of what I've done, lol! The drabble came first and really sealed Harry's fate - poor Harry, and poor Ron. I'm sorry it was confusing! Harry is not stuck in a time warp. Harry went back in time thinking that many people had died, including Ron. His goal was to save them, which he did. By casting the Patronus he did also saved his past self from Voldemort, and allowed his past self to cast the final spell. But future Harry was mortally injured by Bellatrix, and weakened by the Cruciatus Curse. It was love that motivated Harry to go back in time and accomplish these things, and he sacrificed himself to do so. Does that make sense? It makes sense in my own private little world, I hope I've made in clear enough for my readers! Maybe one more chapter will help, it's just about finished. Thank you so much for reading this and leaving a wonderful review! ~Gina :)
VERY clever piece of magic, and qually clever bit of plot, having Dumbledore keep the time turner, and pass it to Harry through the desk drawer. It hearkens back to the philosopher's stone in the Mirror of Erised, but does not repeat it.
I am assuming that Harry saw himself on the battlefield, bu t I'm not sure...
Author's Response: Hi Theresa! Thank yo SO MUCH for reading this story, this is the one I was talking to you about the other day. I'm thrilled you enjoyed it, I've worked really hard on it. And here I was worried someone would call me on the Time Turner - glad you liked it! I hadn't made the connection to the Philosopher's Stone, how about that. There are several other things that look back to the previous books, however. As for your last bit. . . .well, you wouldn't want me to spoil it, would you? ;) Especially since Chapter Five was accepted yesterday and there is only one more chapter to go. Feel free to PM me though if you really want to know. ;) Thank you so much for the wonderful review, I hope you enjoy the rest of the story!! ~Gina :)
Wow.. Im a lit speechless right now... fantastic story. Wonderfully written, the characters were amazingly accurate.. althoug Rons crying part was lit overdone the rest was fantastic... U handled the whole time/space dilema and problems wonderfully... although its not necesary it would be cool if u explain how Harry found himself and all the decisions he made after it
Author's Response: Hi! Thanks so much for the review, I love leaving people speechless. ;) I am happy you enjoyed it. The time/space issues were really tricky, I'm glad you noticed and I'm thrilled I didn't muck it up. There will be a bit of explanation in the last chapter, but not too much. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I'm happy to answer them, as this is one story I've really worked hard on. I hope you enjoy the final chapter, thank you so much for reading this story and leaving such a great review!! ~Gina :)
What a sad chapter, but good nonetheless. I'm glad to see everyone else made it OK and that Harry's efforts weren't wasted. Great job!
Author's Response: Yes, its so sad. Thank you for sticking with it, I'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless. Thank you so much for your reviews, I really appreciate it! One more chapter! ~Gina :)
Is that it?
Author's Response: No, there are two more chapters to go! ~Gina :)
(Stands up and Applauds) Hooray for Harry saving himself again! What a well thought-out and exciting chapter!!! Keep up the good work!!!
Author's Response: Hello! Thanks for the first review on this chapter. It was tough to write so thank you for the comment about it being well thought-out and exciting. I am so glad you enjoyed it - I don't think anyone has every applauded me before. ;) Thank you so much for reading this story and leaving such a great review!! ~Gina :)
Incredible!! I love action-packed chapters! My heart was racing the whole time I was reading. I hope chapter 4 is released soon so I can see the outcome. Great Job!!!
Author's Response: Hi! Thanks for the great review! I'm so glad you liked the battle, I know there are a lot out there. ;) Chapter 4 is done and I willl be submitting it this weekend. I can't wait to see what others think. Thank you so much for reading this story and leaving a review, I really appreciate it! ~Gina :)

Author's Response: Wow, that's something to wake up to! ;) Thank you so much - I guess you liked it then? :) I hope you enjoy the rest - thanks for reading and leaving a review!! ~Gina :)
Wow, time travel huh? The pain and determination in Harry huminizing him. But I'm getting a little tired of seeing this kid always beating himself up.
Author's Response: Yes, poor Harry - what can I say? He feels the weight of the world on his shoulders, and probably for good reason, given the prophecy. Some writers like to pick on their characters, and unfortunetly for Harry he bears the brunt of it from the fanfic crowd. It doesn't get any easier, either. Thanks for reading, and leaving a review! ~Gina :)
Wow!! Another great story to be hooked on!! My first guess was that it was Wormtail's body in the woods, but Harry could possibly be seeing himself. It makes me also wonder who conjured the phoenix patronus. I see chapter 3 is about ready. I can't wait!!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I'm so excited to hear your thoughts on Wormtail and the phoenix. :) I will tell you, however, that in my mind Wormtail is already dead by the time this story begins. Which means I may have another story to write! So no, it wasn't Wormtail. You'll see who conjured the phoenix soon. I can't wait until Chapter 3 is validated myself, I'm very excited about it. I'm so glad you are enjoying the story so far, I hope you like the rest of it! Thanks for reading it and leaving such a great review! ~Gina :)
It is a very good story and chapter 2 was good. I liked Dumbledore's moving picture showing Harry where the time-turner was.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I'm glad you are enjoying it so far! I'm also glad you liked the bit with Dumbledore's portrait - he didn't just show Harry where the Time-Turner was, he actually gave it to him, magically. Not a canon ability of portraits, but it's fantasy so who says its not possible? ;) Thanks so much for reading and leaving a nice review!! ~Gina :)
