Chapter: The Life of a Clock

Wow, that was good. There were a few places where the words didn't rhyme exactly, but on the whole, very good. Keep writing!

Lovely. Simply... Perfect.

The rhyme scheme was all over the place, but for one, I think that added to the clockiness and beauty of the poem itself. You fit every family member perfectly... I'm a bit confused as to Ron's part at the moment, but I'm sure I'm just being my usual blonde (brunette, actally) self... Beautiful, indeed. Bravissima!

Author's Response: Thank you very much. I spent the weekend fixing stuff that (still) hasn't been fixed and/or cleaned up from hurricanes Rita and Katrina. This was a nice review to come home to. What you said about Ron worried me at first because I thought I had forgotten him. Before I submitted it for the mod's approval, I kept worrying I had forgotten someone. I went over it again and again before I thought 'hey, why don't I make a list?’ I didn't have any good reason not to make a list and plenty of perfectly good reasons for making the list (including how much I like to make lists), so I made a list. Anywho, the point is, I lost the list so I quickly clicked the little link and reread the poem. Now, I must go for I have a creative writing project to start and finish by tommorow. *shakes head at self and berates self for procrastinating*. Thanks for taking the time to look at the rhyme scheme and to review.

I loved it! I like most of your poems, they're so creative! :)

Author's Response: I’m glad you liked it! I was afraid it wouldn't be any good since I haven't written a poem in a while. I'm taking a creative writing class, yet I never thought of my poetry as creative writing. It’s always been just something I do. Thankyou!
