Amazingly done. Sara's story is an inspiring one of quiet courage against her personal adversaries that I may never have with my own. This was really touching, thank you for writing it. It is so sad, and yet it may teach us all a lesson. Bravo.

I love how you incorporated a serious illness into this fic. Often, authors of HP fanfiction make the characters seem invicible.

Here, I think you showed that magical people are mortal. Afterall, we did see Dumbledore die, yet some people cling to the notion that magic can heal/save/fix anything.

I also loved the emotion you put into this. It was almost a surprising emotion. As I read the story, I didn't feel any particular attachment to Sara, but when I read the note about her death, I was shocked and upset that she had died. Because she too, like Isabell, had held on for so long, and I couldn't bare to see her go.

Author's Response: Thank you very much for your review. I too feel that there is a wave of invincibility and immortality among HP charcters which sets them as a race apart which is not in the least true. Sara wasn't anyone great or special, just a girl, who died like all people must. And I feel like there is so many of these stories in the world that are just ignored like this. The ordinary people are important too. Anyway, thank you again, and I'm glad I could have touched you in any great or little way.

OMG. Tearjerker! I love this fic!

However, I think you should maybe include more of her enjoyind life, and show her progression from afraid to not afraid to doie.

This is a very good fic. I love it!

Author's Response: Thanks. I actually was planning a longer fic revolving around her life, and the one shot through the letters was meant to be a lead in- but unfortunatly life intervened and I haven't ever finished it. I will definatly consider expanding with the inner material if I have a chance. So thanks again!

Wow. that was heart wrenching. it made me cry but it was so well written. amazing.

Author's Response: Thanks. So often these people are the forgotten ones, but in their own way they are as heroic as the war heros. Its just a different kind of battle.
