I love this poem I never get tired of it!
Author's Response: Well thank ya!!!!
Only a year? Wow, that's surprising! I would have guessed several years!
Author's Response: yeah, I'm just 14 and my required writing class really inspired me ;)
I luv how u describe his sadness:
"An internal universe torn." Wonderful!
It's so great how u describe your characters' feelings in such a fantastically creative way. How long hav u been writing?
sincerely,
Rapid Reader ;-)
Author's Response: I have been writing for about a year.
Wow..... That describes my feelings exactly. My best friend just passed away about a week ago, and the only thing that keeps me from thinking about it too much is writing about it or reading something. This poem was great!
My favorite part was:
Inside my head,
I scream,
For your voice,
So I never forget,
How it sounded.
I had never realized,
How close,
We were,
And now I can't forget it,
For the world.
I can't believe it, but i'm starting to forget what my friend's voice really sounded like! :( This story touched me... and to sum it up in one word - Wow.
"I scream,
For your voice
So I never forget,
How it sounded.
I had never realized,
How close,
We were,
And now I can't forget it,
For the world."
That section really stung me, because I've had good friends pass away. I know exactly how you feel, and I think that writing will help you... I know it helped me. :)
Author's Response: Awww, thank you. I was really thinking of my friend while I was wriring this, so it hit me hard, too. You're right, writing is something I do during emotional times, it really helps.
The gaping black hole,
Now replaces you,
In my heart,
Forever.
I don't know, but that part really hit me hard. Very nice. :D
Author's Response: awww, thanx. It really hit me hard, too. It really reminded my of my deciced friend, he loved Harry Potter, he never finished GOF.
