Hehe, reviewing again. In your response to your first review you said they didn't know Sirius had switched secret keepers but in your fic you said this:
' “Said he wanted to check up on us, what with…changing Secret-Keepers so suddenly.” '
Which was it? I feel bad for giving you a hard time. But I do love your story! I added it to my favorites you can go and look!
Author's Response: Lol you got me. Okay, they did know that they had switched secret keepers. That response was my mistake. Thanks for pointing that out. ;)
I HATE VOLDEMORT! I have this huge lump in my throat.
They loved each other so much, and they loved Harry. But where was James during the day? Weren't they both like under house arrest at that time? And how did they get from the kitchen to the sofa? Just wondering...
And he had just said that they might not die soon. The way you transitioned from James comforting Lily. To him being at the door, that was brilliant. You could just feel the tension and the false hope.
This was beautiful; I'm surprised I've kept my composure through this. In case you couldn't tell I've been switching between reading and reviewing this. But oh my. You dove right into Lily's mind and when James was murdered! This story was like when you wear socks and you're on hard wood floor and you slide. And for a moment you get that sickly jumpy feeling in your tummy right before whether you fall or catch your balance. Reading this was just like that. The last paragraph, my gosh it was lovely.
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. :)
My opinion is that James wouldn't be able to sit in the house all day waiting for death...he would have had to go out a bit every day, perhaps to be updated on security measures or just to keep himself from going mad...I should probably elaborate better on that bit. Thanks for pointing it out. About the sofa...I wrote that James led her there, and the living room wasn't that far from the kitchen, so...yeah. ^^
But I'll probably do a rewrite on this sometime soon, just to make things a bit clearer.
I don't know why I read these. It's sucha tragic love story, Lily and James. I always cry while reading these and I get a huge lump in my throat. This was well written and descriptive. In these types of fics Voldy doesn't usually talk. Usually it all happens fast. This made it, real.
Author's Response: Aw, thank you for reviewing. I thought it odd that in most fics Voldemort doesn't talk at all when it is obvious, through every encounter he has ever had with Harry, that he loves to talk. :D I'm sorry you were sad, but glad my story came alive for you.~ roggy :)
I had to check this out after LoS . Perfect.Don't James & Lily even register Peter's perfidy though ?
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! Once they were being attacked, why would they blame the weakest of their friends? They had other things to think about by then.
A lot of things went wrong that night for Lily and James to die. They didn't know Sirius had switched places. If anything, they might've been blaming SIRIUS at the time of their death. Hm. I may put that in...though I don't know if there's time for them to really think the whole thing through while they're panicking...but maybe one or two garbled thoughts...~roggy :)
