Author's Response: Heh, there's actually a really bad mistake behind that that I converted to a story (basiclly, I found the name Matai on a baby name website, named him that, wrote him in a chapter, then realized that it meant 'when' (and that no parent would willing name their kid that)). So I made up a back story for it. Glad you liked it. Also, Matai showes up in my story Trying to Live a Life Worth Living (currenty, he's only in chapter three). That is, if your interested.

I really like Matai. He is definitely a well developed OC and well thought out. I have really enjoyed reading his adventures and seeing how he ends up helping his friend. Thanks for the enjoyement!
