I saw the link to this on the forums, and I clicked.
This is perhaps one of the most poignant (sp?) fan fictions I have had the chance to read. The sensory desciptions in addition to your incredible feeling for the depth of the human heart just...... wow. Keep up the beautiful work!

Author's Response: Thank you for the wonderful review, Levicorpus. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Take care. :)

Chapter: A Mother's Heartbreak

Sad. I don't think I've cried because of such a short story ever before. But your fic has a very powerful message about loss and about mothership and love. I like how you don't identify the actual characters in the story - it gives it more of a general feeling, showing the universal truths in what you've written. A powerful, tragic piece.

Author's Response: When I first started writing this, I had no idea that it was going to turn out to be this short. But it didn't need to be any longer, because I'd written the message I needed to deliver. Thanks so much for reading and taking time to review. :) It means a lot to me. -Debbie
