Chapter: There's A Difference Between Love And L.O.V.E

Wow, I'm impressed. I was definitely laughing in the last two chapters.
Here's my favorite part:

“Lily ...” Sirius says, sounding worried. I ignore him, and hold the bouquet at arms length. With my other hand, I take out my wand, and set the thing on fire, in front of the whole school.

“And next time, James, it will be your head,” I tell him, sharply.

Sirius begins to laugh, and applaud, despite the shocked and tense atmosphere gripping the rest of the Great Hall. “Five hundred and eight Padfoot Points for that whole performance, Lily!” he cries, wiping tears from his eyes. “I think you’re winning!”

And I think that Padfoot Points are just my all-around favorite thing.

Bravo! *Claps and wipes away a tear*

Author's Response: *bows and wipes away an identical tear* Thank you, my friend. I'm really glad you liked it, especially that one bit you showed me ... the "I think you're winning" was added on right at the last minute, so it's a good job it paid off!

Chapter: There's A Difference Between Love And L.O.V.E

A beautiful ending to a beautiful story!!! It was amazing, and I must say that that song is one of my absolute favorites!! As well as this entire story =]
And I'm definitely going to be reading all of your other stories! You are an excellent author!
As for all of my favorites and least favorites and whatever else, I'll have to get back to you after I reread the entire thing again, but it should be soon! Once again, this is a fabulous story, and I'm also going to go back and review all the other chapters, just because I feel terrible for not doing so the first read!

Author's Response: Ah, it's okay, just reading and enjoying it is enough for me ... although, I'm not going to complain. =D I'm really, so so glad you enjoyed it, because I enjoyed writing it, so I guess everybody wins ... have fun with my other fics!

I LOVED THIS STORY. I'm sad to see it go.... Well, my favorite part of this fic was definitly the entire "Padfoot Point" system. Everytime Sirius or James would hand them out I would just burst out laughing. You're a great writer! Keep it up!

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm really glad! The Padfoot Points have certainly been a hit, I'm very glad you enjoyed them. Thanks so much for reviewing.

hahaa there is so many awesome things about this chapter man hehehe this was an awesome ending wwwwaaaaaaa it ended how could you ? lol

Author's Response: Well, I'm glad it was up to scratch! It was very hard ending it. VERY hard. But, you know, if I'd carried on too long, it would have gotten boring ... still, thank you for ALL your reviews for this story, I've really enjoyed them!

i heart padfoot points! five hundred and eight padfoot points for that performance lily! LOL! write a story about Sirius giving people, most likely random, padfoot points when they do something funny or cool or for no reason. Muggles or Wizards, i don't care, it would be just funny! or have Sirius out of jail and a Christmas with Harry and the Order before he dies, course it may be AU, but have Sirius go, Fifty padfoot points to you Harry! and have Remus all like, You STILL remember?!?! and go into a story or something! i don't know, i just like your writing and i know you'll do good at what ever you chose to write! :D :P peace out Peeps! :P

Author's Response: Hee hee. That's a really funny idea, actually, especially the bit many years on, after everything that's happened, and he still remembers ... =D Sixty Padfoot Points for creativity goes to Noel Weasley, lol! Well, if I ever do use that (no promises) I'll be sure to credit you. Hmm ... *mind works furiously*

it's over? sobs.
Loved it so much! can't believe it's over now. i love everything, but what should have happened is that when James pulled another i love you thing s, lily should have marched right up to him, looking positively mad, yell his name, and then kiss him. yup, then i would be content, but i like your ending too! can't wait to see your name on the Most Recent page some time soon! :P

Author's Response: Ha ha, I guess that's an ending for another story ... glad my ending was still enjoyable, though! Thanks for reading my fic! And for reviewing! Hooray!

Chapter: Hogsmeade Has A Sweet Shop. How Can It Be Bad?

Oh.... To continue your list: poor James, too. They were getting so close, and....

To quote: "When you go/Don't you know/It's the perfect ending/To the bad day/I was just beginning."

I feel so bad for Lily! Her day started out so well, and then it all went to pot. Oh... While I wish it wouldn't end, I am looking forward to the next chapter, just to see them all happy again (maybe? Hopefully, just like I'm hoping practice will be rained out tonight. We get clouds, but never lightning! Gah!).

Author's Response: Too bad ... if it helps, I'll wish for rain too! *crosses fingers*. That quote is very accurate, just how James must have been feeling ... Glad you've enjoyed the catch up, I have too! Hopefully the next chapter won't be too long (although it pains me to end this).

Chapter: That Freezing, Stressful, Traumatic, Ridiculously Distressing, Happy Time Of Year

As much of a never-get-in-trouble-ever girl that I am, I love that- getting in just the tiniest amount of trouble and then laughing about it. It's just fun, even though I really don't like getting in trouble with a teacher.

I swear, I love under-age, ADHD Sirius, and I'd know, even though I'm only ADD myself (that's just the one where you can't concentrate on just one thing at a time, for the most part. I'm usually thinking at least three things at once.). He's so cute, and so funny. *glomps poor, unsuspecting Sirius*

And, of course, the last line was, again, absolutely brilliant. I need to learn to end chapters like that.

Author's Response: Lol, I'm so picky about how my chapters and one-shots end these days, I have to keep going until I write an acceptable line to end on ... I've ended up going to whole new scenes just to get that perfect note to finish with! Glad you like Sirius, I love him too! Yay!

Chapter: I Do Something Stupid. No One Is Surprised.

A very emotional chapter, methinks. I feel sad for them, but at the same time happy that James and Lily are finally coming together.

One thing that I'd really like to commend you on is how well you've managed to establish an emotional connection through the story, with me, and I think, with your other readers. I can really identify with your Lily, and, to me, an emotional connection is one of the most important aspects of good writing. People will love even the most horrible story, even if they recognize how bad said story really is (I'm not talking about yours, of course), if you manage to establish a cast of human and understandable characters. Great job.

Author's Response: Oh, thank you, that's such a lovely review! I'm glad you can connect to my characters, because I do too when I write them, so it's good to know it goes both ways! Thanks so much!

Chapter: Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Comical

Oh, I can't help but love this, particularly the beginning. *grins* I've done that sort of thing a few times myself, and it's always nice to be able to build off of someone and have them build off of you, isn't it?

I need to thank you for something, though- when you described O.V.E.'s collective expression, you used part- instead of half-, half-, half-. I can't stand it when people seem to forget that there are only two halves in a whole. Weird, grammar-freakish quirk, but....

Okay, major fluff. More inner-shipper coming out here-- aww!

Great chapter, though I did have a small issue with "War of the Badges" being in quotations inside of quotations when Professor McGonagall was speaking. I just wish I'd read it sooner.

Author's Response: Oops, did I forget that one too? Sorry *is embarrassed* I just had a one-shot turned down because of that ... in fact, it's in this very section, its called A Condundrum ... just in case you were interested ;D Glad you liked this, and it wasn't too grammatically insane ... I know what you mean about half- half- half- ... how annoying is that? =D

Chapter: A Life Without L.O.V.E Is Like A Life Without Chilblains

Well, I'm rather behind, aren't I? *laughs sheepishly* Sorry about that. Computer issues, life issues, vacation.... I promise to be more prompt in the future.

Now: A life without chiblains....? Nice simile. And I just can't believe Lily didn't remember burglar-swatting is an Olympic sport....

Nah, I'm kidding. I'm just tired out because of having swim practice from 6-8:30 AM and from 5-7 PM and doing virtual school to get a credit I need.

"Just because you're high on magic sniffing tea leaves or something!" Very interesting line there. Apparently, Petunia's been hiding her imagination from us for all these years.

I loved the chapter, especially the bits about Old Voldy (*laughs* Sorry. Stupid inside joke involving my friends calling a guy I used to like that 'cause we'd started calling him You-Know-Who for no apparent reason.) and the last line most of all, but, just one thing -- can I throw a penny at Sirius, too?

Author's Response: Hey, any time s a good time when it comes to reviews! Glad you liked this lighthearted chapter, with burglar swatting (how could Lily be so naive? It's been a recognised sport since 1654 ...), magic tea leaves (where's Petunia been hiding all these years?) and random lines about wimples and nuns ... As for throwing pennies at Sirius ... of COURSE you can! He's always around for people to throw pennies at him! Now THERE'S an olympic sport worth recognising ...

Chapter: Hogsmeade Has A Sweet Shop. How Can It Be Bad?

wait so if lily knew that Renus is a ware wolf then does she know James is a stag

Author's Response: You can presume so. I didn't want to make a big thing of it, it's sort of a cliched storyline, so I just slipped it in that she knew, and you can presume they told her. Remember, Iola probably knew before then, and once Lily was truly, properly accepted they would have let her in on it.

PLEEEAAASSSSSSEEE CONTINUE THIS FIC!!!! OR WRITE A SEQUEL!!!!

I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Author's Response: Okay, I'm just going to repeat what I said to someone else a couple of reviews ago: If I think of an idea for a sequel, I'll write it, but I don't want it to end up lame, you know? So I'll have to think of a VERY good storyline if I DO write a sequel. So don't get your hopes up too high. But I'm glad you enjoy it so much, anyway!
