There might not be anymore "Snapshots" chapters, because as the students get older, there is a lot more to be done! You are amazing. I have read so many "Lily getting introduced to the wizarding world" stories that are relatively stupid and are simply a re-telling of what Diagon Alley is like, to the reader. They usually lack a serious personal aspect, like how it is for Lily. They rarely have a good ability to really show it through Lily's eyes. You did an outstanding job with that. I usually skim straight over those sections but yours had me absorbed, and it was like seeing Diagon Alley for the first time all over again. It was just as enthralling as the first time I was introduced to Diagon Alley ;)
Terrific work, I can't wait to read the rest. I'm really hanging out to her reaction to Hogwarts and what she can actually do with magic! (And her reaction to what James and Sirius can *already do* with magic haha ;)....)

Diagon Alley, to me, is one of the most important parts of a story like this, because I feel it's the first time the characters really feel like wizards (well, provided that they hadn't known before!). Formatting! I like the story, your writing is good. But on this chappie you should have hit the return key a bit more often. You have done a very good job of writing a human peter. Almost hard to believe that the person you've written about becomes such a slimy worm... Keep up the good work.

I've read the story up to here today and I must say I'm rather impressed. Marauder-era fanfics are ten a penny but the characterization in this one is deeper and more convincing.
