I read this story because I loved 'Keep your friends close etc.' and I wanted something else by you, and I must say this one is really good too! You have a knack for writing vivid scenes that seem to play in front of my eyes without resorting to boring details in your description.
Do you write original stuff too? I would like to read something if you do...
Author's Response: Thank you for your lovely review. I haven't done anything original for a long time, and the book I did write at one stage (actually 20 years ago now!) needs serious overhauling, and was written in longhand. However, I have started something for my younger son recently...
This story is great! Fleur would definitely be the woman to state the obvious that having a baby hurts. I also liked when Ginny told Remus that Tonks was shaken when Fleur exploded in her kitchen. A good story!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! This story generates less interest than my others, so I am always glad to see a review. It didn't take long to write, but it is the one I kind of like best. Thank you for your review.
I ADORE THIS STORY IMMENSELY! There just aren't enough good Bill Weasley stories on the net. Your characterisations of Fleur, Bill, Remus, Molly, and especially Tonks were spot-on (our first introduction to Tonks in this story was brilliant), and I could really just see this happening. I like the way you made Fleur honourable while still keeping her flaws.
The line "You are most stupid Englishman" made me think of Monty Python's French taunters: "You silly English pig-dogs!"
Author's Response: I am so glad you like this story, I had fun writing it. I had to do a little bit more on Fleur so that she was the kind of girl I would be happy seeing Bill with! I actually became quite fond of her flaws in the end. Thank you so much for leaving a review.
Really good. It reflects Fleur inner stregnth, and her and Bill's love for one another.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I really enjoyed writing it.
