Chapter: Appointments and Engagements

It's really annoying watching all of the Weasleys and Harry stand by and do nothing but watch Hermione make a huge mistake. They knew what was going to happen and did nothing. They knew how fragile Hermione has been emotionally. She was just looking to fill a void after she lost the 3 most important people in her life in a very short time.

Their behavior makes me quite's almost like they don't even care about Ron. Every time he tells one of them he wants her back, they just tell him "tough luck, it ended 2 years ago." Yet when they see Hermione having doubts and when they see flashes of Michael's Mr. Hyde, they don't step in! What is the problem? Is it that hard to put some brakes on this runaway train of a wedding and let Ron get his thoughts together?

If I'm Ron, after I see Hermione get married, I'm having a good hard look at my family members and wondering if they have my back. We know that they'll support Hermione unconditionally...I wonder what it would be like if they showed Ron the same courtesy.

And I probably shouldn't expect much from Hermione, but honestly, if you're that hesitant to get married don't do it. Ron's back now, just get over your prode and talk to him. Oh well, we know how things turn out...I bet Hermione wishes she would have talked to Ron...

Author's Response: Well, I think it all came from letting Hermione make her own mistakes. And Ron also made mistakes. He was away for two years and then suddenly he's asking Hermione not to marry her fiance?

Chapter: Falling Apart

Wow, screw you Harry. Way to stick up for your best mate when he needs you the most.

“What ‘personal matters’, Ron?” asked Ginny suspiciously.

My fingers are still crossed for what I was talking about in the earlier know, with the red-haired baby and everything :)

Chapter: The Right Decision?

You did make a huge mistake Hermione! Ugh, I'm not sure why she felt like she had to get married, but it really didn't work out so well for a lot of people.

Stupid Harry...he needs to listen to Ginny and stop being such a wuss. He should know by now that Ginny is always right! (Well, in this case she is...other cases not so much lol)

Chapter: Everything She Needs

I loved Hermione's jealousy's like a reverse Yule Ball lol.

Also, the scenes with Ron were great again...they are consistently the best scenes in the story.

Author's Response: Ha, I'd never thought about it that way!

Chapter: Flowers

This story is so gripping. I'm going back through all of these chapters at once and I'm rembering how great it is. All of the characters are so real, even the ones you created yourself. Sometimes original characters can be a bit flat because they don't have the backstory from the books, but that is not the case here.

It's a bit difficult watching how Hermione reacts to Claudia. I mean, Hermione moved on with Michael...does she just want Ron to be alone for the rest of his life? At least Claudia doesn't lie or cheat. Full disclosure: I like Ron and don't like that Hermioe married Michael lol.

And I do like the fact that you've given Ron a girlfriend who's not the stereotypical's nice not having to see him be totally unable to date or to end up with the cliched girlfriend who only exists to be a roadblock between he and Hermione.

Also...Hermione's baby is red-haired, and she was pregnant before she was married...I'm going to cross my fingers and toes for the biggest twist ever, but knowing that I'm not that lucky, I'm going to mentally switch out the father from someone I don't like to a red-haired guy I DO like :) Maybe you can take this hint and run with can be my Christmas present!

Author's Response: Haha well... You need to stick around and see what I've planned for these two. ;) I'm glad you feel that way about Claudia because that's what I was going for.

Chapter: Catharsis

I'm glad this story is back, and I'm glad Ron's back--I missed them both!

I hope that there isn't another year wait between chapters...that's happened like 3 different times with this story...but I'm going to focus on the positives--it hasn't been abandoned!

Author's Response: I know, I know, I'll do my best. Thanks for sticking by. :)

Chapter: Uncertainty

I don't really like the fact that Michael died in this story. Not only because I feel badly for Micheal and his family, but...Now if Hermione ends up with Ron, she didn't *choose* Ron, she only ended up with him because Michael was gone.

She didn't choose Ron when he was training to be an auror (although ou can also say that Ron chose his job over Hermione), she didn't choose Ron when she decided to marry Michael, and she didn't choose Ron when her relationship with Michael headed south.

I'm a R/Hr fan, but Hermione has some work to do to convince me that Ron is her first choice, and not just the last choice remaining after all the other choices haven't worked out.

Chapter: A Picture Is Worth More Than A Thousand Words

I'm re-reading previous chapters because I can't remember what's going on in this story lol.

I loved when Hermione was shouting at Michael and made her little slip...she was clearly thinking about Ron.

I am so excited to see an update from you! Unfortunately it has been so long that I don't remember much about the characters and didn't fully understand the chapter. I do hope that Claudia leaves the picture soon and that Ron is there for Hermione more often. I also hope to see more of Harry, Ginny and the Weasley's. It was cute to see your description of Jane because my daughter is also 8mn old. The scene with Jane and Elizabeth was very sweet, keep it up!

Author's Response: I am SO SORRY. I know exactly how that feels. I'm the meanest writer ever, I know. Thanks so much for leaving a review, though! And can I tell you how relieved I am that you, an actual mother, found my Jane description/interactions cute? I was worried about that! I think it's been years since I've been around a baby, and I was hoping this would all be fine, so THANK YOU! Also, next chapter there will be A LOT of Weasleys and Potters.

Hi there! Still here and still reading!! I absolutely adore the new chapter! You have such a talent with character development; always giving the audience new material but holding back just enough to keep the story intriguing and unpredictable. Another Ron appearance was so exciting! Keep writing, you still have plenty of fans! :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! You guys make me want to write write write. Honestly, if it weren't for you and these awesome reviews, I would have given up by now. YOU GUYS ROCK.

Wow! You have no idea my surprise when I got the email telling me there was an update... I had all but given up, sorry! But this was like a little Christmas surprise! Snow falling outside, drinking a cup of tea, and reading this chapter... wonderful. :)

What struck me this time was Ron's apology, especially where he says "just because we're not together any more doesn't mean I don't care. And I should have been there for you in the past." It's crazy... I recently had a relationship end, and he was, still is, one of my best friends. I've actually been going through some hard times, and going through the same kind of thing with him that Hermione is with Ron - still being friends and still caring, despite our circumstances. You could never have known this, but your words spoke right to my heart.

I was also wonderful to see Elizabeth turn around, and you successfully made me stop hating her in one short chapter. I know exactly the feeling of, in my case, seeing your little cousins when you're feeling low, and feeling infinitely better afterwards. There's something about family, and especially young members of the family, that is able to soothe most hurts. I really think that you captured this feeling, and you made me really look forward to seeing my family at Christmas :)

I really am still here, and I always love reading your new chapters! Like I've said a dozen times before, you've done a terrific job on characterization of canon characters, but it also feels like all those you invented could easily be real people that I could get to know. Keep up the fantastic work, and I really (really!) look forward to the next chapter!

p.s. I felt like I should add that I think time has distanced me from the feeling of actually liking Claudia... if I went back and re-read, I probably would, but as of now I'm hating her again. Ha. ;)

Author's Response: OH MY GOD YAY! I squeed when I saw this review. I'm so happy you're still reading! I was hoping you'd still be around. It is so nice and exciting to hear that someone found my writing touching. Seriously, this review has a few of the best comments I've received about my writing, so thank you very, very much. You have no idea what this all means to me. I wanna reach through the screen and hug you. xx

Chapter: What Lies Ahead (Part Two)

If Hermione ment saving Lavenders life, Lavender dies in the movie & book

Author's Response: Well, no, it's not specified in the book whether Lavender dies. But either way, if Fred (my dear, dear Fred) is walking around in this fic, I guess Lavender's canon fate doesn't really matter. P.S. I started writing this before DH, so it inevitably veered into alternate universe.
