That was a enormous, lovely surprise. I'm naturally dubious of new SS/HG writers, but this...this is wonderful. What language, what verse, what poetry...God, I wish I had your talent. Your prose is nearly lyrical in quality, beautiful to read and magical to behond.

Author's Response: ooh, what a lovely first review. Thank you! (I'm a far from 'new' SS/HG writer - postively decrepit, in fact). Part two is ready to upload, though it will take me an hour or two to sort out the formatting glitches online. (This part kept half-disappearing and doing weird things with the spacing after every time I went in to correct it - it's a relief to see it here complete...)
