Interesting. Most people just assume that Andy is some kind of saint who loathed her family for their beliefs and was so head-over-heels in love with Ted she never gave her decision a second thought. When you think about it, this is much more realistic.
She continued to sob loudly, wondering if she would ever again have a home–a family.
This is so sad... it's a pretty simple sentence, yet it's pretty powerful.
Overall, awesome fic. I really like Avril Lavigne (she's Canada's sweetheart!!!), and this song really works with this fic. I wish you could have explored how Andy and Ted dealt with the conflict though. We know it would be a happy end eventually, but how? Maybe a part two, please?

I think Andromeda's temper is a Black trait and I doubt you'll find any Black that isn't tempermental. However, I always thought she was in Slytherin. It seemed like Sirius was the first Black to be sorted elsewhere.
And I don't buy that Andromeda left her family without ever looking back. She grew up with these people, they raised her. She has to feel some kind of connection to them.

But this one is amazing. It's wonderful and has lots of emotion. The lyrics also go perfectly with the story. Terrific!

OOOHhh, lovely, lovely! It's going on my favorites. I'm beggining to like Andromeda more and more because of your writing, and this fic makes me wonder what would have happened if she had chosen to remain with her sisters, or if her sisters had followed her path in life. It's very interesting. Again, great job, you've written another one of my favorite!
