Wow, I could have cried with them. It was so beautiful and beautifilly written. So many loved ones are lost and then some are forgtten and that should never happen. Love the quote also.

Beautifully written. I really liked this one-shot not only because it's so realistic and has such a moving theme, but also because of some of the imagery you used.
oh- wait before I get into quotes I want to mention that I loved Luna's characterization. The whole story with Dean was amazing. It's like a little snippet of the side-story Jo had to cut. Really loved it.
Okay, so here a couple of the lines I absolutely loved:
but we can't exactly smash their faces in the truth. No matter how satisfying it might be to try."
and for some reason I overloolked this second one the first couple of reads, but I just realized how nicely it fits with Hogwarts' response at the end:
Luna turned and placed her hands upon the rough stones of Hogwarts. "We need your help."

And we will break the silence
I almost wished it would end here, because that one line was just so conclusive and it fit perfectly...
In short it was an amazing one-shot, thanks for a great read...*goes to find more cool stuff to read in my newly found free time*...=)

It makes me cry inside to think about how this applies to real life: soldiers and people all over the world die every day because of war and natural disasters, and yet no one cares because it doesn't affect them. I wish we could make a memorial to everyone, just like Hermione did.
