Reading this story, it dosn't seem like James could ever like Sirius, let alone become his best friend! It looks more like Sirius could become best friends with Remus. I wouldn't think that James would be that nasty to Sirius. Anyway, not my favourite story of yours but I think you captured Sirius' feelings really well and you have a great writing style!

I mean, think of the Weasleys: they automatically hate the Malfoys (maybe not Arthur so much, but it does apply to Ron-Draco) simply for their views... of course, THEY were right in doing so, but James will change his mind... eventually... *wicked grin*
