grat story so far! cnt wait for the next update!
Author's Response: Thank you! Hopefully the fourth chapter will be up soon =)
This is soooo interesting, I love it... update soon please
Author's Response: Chapter four is in queue, I hope you like it!
ahh so i just read this for the third time, and i cant get over how powerful it is. its soo real and...well...i had no trouble beleiving that it could actually happen. amazing. PLUS u got Voldy's characterization and dialogue right, which a lot of people have trouble with. amazing. cant wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Wow! Thank you so much! Yes, the next (last?) chapter is in the works. Its taking so long because, after the intensity of chapter 3, I'm wanting to make it just as good. Thanks for reading!!!
Nice. Keep goin'.
Author's Response: Last chapter is in the works!
Wow. I'm impressed with both your ingenuity and delivery, and also quite intrigued...
Author's Response: Thanks!
WOW. this last chapter really got me. you have such a way with words. im very very impressed and cant wait for more. great job!
Author's Response: Thanks alot! I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed it! Now for the arduous task of creating a unbelievably fantastic memory in chapter 4...
Hey! You got banners! I like 'em! I actually have that third picture saved as my wallpaper! Except it has the real background with the snow and everything instead of the golden background on the banner! Anyways, just noticed that and thought I'd comment on how cool they were! Byebye!
Author's Response: Thanks! I've had them for awhile, I just couldn't figure out how to post them on my author page until this morning. Haha! We have some very talented banner makers on this site! They do fantastic work =)
Brilliant! Each chapter gets better. I particularly loved the wonderful descriptions in this chapter (for example, great second paragraph!) The image of the ribbons of love coming from Harry to destroy Voldemort is once again pure JKR - amazing. Your vision of the final battle is very good, and the way it ends for Harry, Ron and Hermione is heartbreaking. I know that the memory Arthur finds to save them will be equally as moving. Good luck as you continue, I can't wait to read more! ~Gina :)
Author's Response: Who says he'll end up finding one at all? No, I'm just kidding, of course he will find one. Writing one good enough to combat the evil I wrote in chapter 3, THAT'S the hard part! Thanks for your encouraging words! ~Ashley
Sorry it took me so long to read this, but I'm quite glad I finally made it! Great job! You have turned Arthur Weasley into one of my favorite characters. :) The image of the heart and the ribbons in the Hall of Love is fantastic - pure JKR. And the idea of a Memory Snaring Potion is brilliant - I love it! Great job, this is such a strong entry for the HHWP! I'm off to read Chapter 3 now. ~Gina :)
Author's Response: Hey Gina! Thanks for coming back and reading the rest! I think I was channeling Jo when I wrote the description of the hall, lol! Seriously, I even surprised myself with that one! Thanks so much!
Ding dong the wizard is dead! Which old wizard? The wicked wizard!
The Dark Lord has FINALLY been defeated. well, on fanfiction anyway. but how could he like not be deafeated by the end of the seventh book? then evil would win. NOOOO!
I cried at this one! It was so sad but so sweet how they're together at the end! Very excellent chapter! Can't wait for more!
I'm glad that i finally know what happened! I've been wondering!
And who's the big JERK that cast that Liquifluctus spell? They are SOOOO gonna get it bad!!!!!
11/10 as always!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Hey! I was wondering where you were! *looks around for hidden choir of munchkins* I'm proud of the end of the flashback, where they are all together. Just the way it should be, in my opinion, in the last confrontation of the real book. Thanks, Chloe!
I'm sooo glad that you had love kill Voldemort, and not some curse or such. I truly don't want to see Harry kill. He needs to make it out of the battle without doing an Unforgivable Curse, in my opinion. I look forward to see what you have the saving memory be!
Author's Response: Thanks Cheshlin! It really just fit so nicely with the story, I couldn't think of any other way of doing it. In my mind Voldie has negated the powers of love for so long, that they are bound to come back and do him in before the end. Thanks for reviewing!!
Fantastic! Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks!
Wow! That's all I can say, really. This was really, really amazing! You really drew me into the fic. It's such an interesting concept - the locked door, and you gave it a very realistic background and develop a lovely plot from it. I loved the words you used for Deogol's words on love - really, really lovely.
The description in this fic was also wonderful. You managed to both describe the surroundings in wonderful detail, and not go overboard so we can still imagine this to be Arthur Weasley.
While I'm on the subject, I really liked the fact that you're using Arthur. I don't think I've ever read a fic where he's been the main character, but I'm glad I started reading this. So far, he's wonderfully IC - I hope he stays that way!
I'll definitely be reading further in this!
Author's Response: Wow, Rhi! Thanks so SO much, those comments mean so much coming from you! I'm really enjoying using Arthur in this story. I'd never seen him as a main character before, and somehow he just popped into my head and demanded I give him a shot with this plot bunny =) I hope you enjoy the rest! Thanks!
Leaving me hanging...and it's so depressing how they're trapped in their own minds. I noticed one mistake (I think), and I really hate to point out any inconsistencies, because I can't stand it when people do it to me. You said that Voldemort had 'cast an Apparation Ward when he arrived' around the house. Now that he's dead, wouldn't the ward that he had cast disappear, as the bonds on Ron and Hermione did? And then they'd be able to Apparate the heck out of there? Well, just something to consider. Great work, keep at it!
Author's Response: Hmm, you could be right, but as far as I know Apparation wards are permanent until they are removed. Think about Hogwarts. The founders and Dumbledore are long dead, but the Apparation wards are still in place. I could be wrong =) Ah well! Thanks for reviewing!
Oh...My...GOD!!!! That was so sad! I cried!! That warning at the beginning was no crap!
Author's Response: Success! I was going for heart wrenching on that one! Sorry if it made you cry, I hope you enjoyed it anyway *crosses fingers* But, you'll be happy to know the next chapter will be much MUCH happier. Thanks for reading/reviewing!
Ooh, mystical (again)!!
Author's Response: Hahaha, thanks (again!)!!
Author's Response: Haha, thanks!
Ok, Arthur made a mistake in wishing he knew what they were going through, but that might give him the idea for the correct memory to bring them out of the nightmare! I look forward to reading the next chapter to see what it shows.
Author's Response: Absolutely right! The next chapter will be a little intense for Arthur (and probably everyone else...), but he can't possibly understand the scope of their nightmares without experiencing it himself. Thanks for reviewing! Hopefully chapter 3 will be up soon!
You have some very interesting ideas here. It is very interesting how you have the Unspeakables be very different and cast off from the rest of society. I also find your portrayal of the locked room interesting. I look forward to reading the rest of this story.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I somehow see the Unspeakables being very private. I don't see personable people taking a job that demands such high levels of secrecy and hours locked in the confines of the DoM. Chapter two is up and Chapter 3 is in queu. Hope you enjoy!
Wow! That one just about made me cry! Poor Harry and Ron and Hermione!!! C'mon Mr. Weasley! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! Really great chapter! Well written and just completely amazing! I could picture everything wonderfully in my mind from all the detail! Can't wait for more!!!
Author's Response: Ooo, I recommend you have a kleenex ready for the next chapter then. I'm not done with it yet, but I believe its going to be a bit more heart-wrenching than the last... Thanks again for your fabulous reviews!
