You know, in canon Lucius is one of the most contemptable characters I've ever come across, I hate that guy. But here you've really made me feel for him, I'm not sure i like the sensation. This was extremely well written and it was nice to see that Molly was once a teenage girl. I think my favourite chapter was the one in the snow, it just touched me. The thought of wishing to be in a particular moment in time forever has always fascinated me and that chapter was blanketed in it. A beautifully composed story.
Really, really, really enjoyed this!
cool story =) and after all bill is the only good looking weasley...besides ginny.
the story is so sad... made me understand lucius more!!!! great pair... never thought it can be this perfect!!!
Written very well. I would never have thought of this pairing, but it works. Well done.
First and Foremost, thank you very much for this story. as unseemly as the pair may seem, it doesn't matter, for you have created a fic that deserves to be honoured so very much. as sad as it may seem, I think that this was a perfect ending. they were too different, and yet alike. bittersweet lovestorys always work best.
I dont know what else to say, I've pretty much said everything in my previous reviews. as an author, I guess you would be glad to hear some criticism, but I can find nothing to raise a finger at. A good author can make anything happen, twist and turns in a story, and make the whole thing seem so unbelievable. but he can also make people believe it and that is what matters.
Yours Sincerely Julia
Of course. Sense is really what ruins love between two people. And how I hate it. I never really believed that Molly loved Lucius as much as he loved her. I think, that for Molly, a safe home and a loving husband was always what was most important, even though she was an adventurous Gryffindor. I do not think though that she ever meant to use Lucius, she's not the advantage taking kind of type. she had something with him, even though it may for her not was passionate love. I'm so sad right now. *cries desperate tears*. And always a little too late is he. I hate this unfair world.
Another brilliant chapter. Although happy endings are quite annoying in rather dark bitter-sweet love storys, I can't help but wish that that is what will happen to this story. it's so sweet, so meant-to-be, I can't let it go.
Oh my, this chapter was really really intense. I loved it though, it was excellent. all this makes me wonder how Molly feels ? I'm very curious since Lucius's wishes, desires and love for her obviously seems so strong.
I have now reached the conclusion that this pair is very very cute! Lucius is very.. romantic in this chapter, but it never turns the story into some sappy happy-ending fic. you picture Molly excactly as I imagined her being at that age, if I ever imagined her as young. great job, I look forward to read the next chapters.
Molly it is, eh ? an(in my opinion) unusual pairing but nevertheless not hopeless if told the right way. I look forward to read the net chapters.
What a sad fic! In a good way, of course, brilliantly written and touching, but sooo sad! This is a pairing I don't think I've ever seen before, but it was so well thought out that it fit into canon perfectly but with a new twist on old characters. Wonderful!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm not sure you'll find that pairing much, but it suddenly made sense and I just HAD to write it.
That’s a crazy pairing, but they were so adorable. It certainly takes wonderful writing to do that (for any pairing), and this story was extremely well done, enjoyable, and very sad as well. After knowing the cruelty of Lucius Malfoy, it's hard to imagine him as anything else, but no one can truly be that black and white, can they? No one's just completely evil. Plus this fits in well with Lucius’ relationship with Narcissa, why he was so disappointed with her…b/c she really is nothing like Molly in any shape or form.
As for Bill being the son of a Malfoy, that idea would defiantly cause havoc as mentioned. It’s unlikely though, with the red hair b/c that’s a gene even more recessive than blonde. But then, we can’t give up hope can we – that mangy red could be dormant. With so few pureblood families, they’ve probably all crossed lines at some point, right? Oh jeeze, did I just become a LM/MW shipper?
Author's Response: Ah, but is it definitively stated anywhere that Bill looks anything like his family? ;) Even that he has red hair? I somehow picture that his is a little more sandy and less red than the others', and actually canon Lucius is never said to be blonde at all -- just his wife and son are specified. I'm always happy to see another possible LM/MW shipper! Thanks!
Beautiful. I loved it! ^_^ Every chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks!
I loved it! The end was sad, but fitting seeing as how I'm watching Titanic, so I'm a little melancholy. :)
Author's Response: I haven't watched TItanic! Which may make me the last person on Earth who hasn't. Thanks for the review!
OMG!!! hahaha Lucius's first love, is the mother of Draco's first love! thats rich!
"Pureblood and fiery, she had the maternal sweetness and the curves to promise all the sons a man could want "
hahaha thats Molly for ya!
Author's Response: There was a big push on for it to be Arthur, for some reason. I just couldn't do it. So I channeled Lucius, sat him down in the common room, and started writing until I knew who the mystery redhead was. And yes, that's Molly for ya. How would Lucius react to seeing all that wealth of boys and wishing they were his?
Thanks for reviewing!
Oh my goodness gracious. To pull this story off requires tremendous skill and attention to detail. So of course it would only ever come from Vindictus. WOW I must say, I was absolutely stunned. The characterization, I loved how young Molly--Malinda--has all the spunk that Mrs. Weasley will have, and her naughtiness even suggests how she would enforce rule-abiding with her children. And Lucius is so perfectly manipulative, so expectant to get what he deserves, so intensely--and blindly--emotional. I loved the poetry and subtlety and maturity, all very befitting. The usage of ice--the ring, Narcissa, Azkaban--your signature attention to detail that keeps me coming back to your writing. Mmm I'm sad I didn't read this a long time ago. Very happy reader ^-^
Author's Response: Aw, thanks! This one was such a puzzle -- Who was Lucius in love with that he didn't get, how does it explain him later, and how can I possibly keep them both IC? It was a total blast to write. Characer Sudoku. Thanks for the review, and I'm glad you enjoyed this!
