death penalty in the magical world...doesn't sit right. Isn't a dementors kiss what punishment is all about? Probably feasible that Dumbeldore remained in his office but that would mean he sat there and let Minerva almost be killed without doing a thing. Not likely.

The meshing is great but should have more fleshing out. That was one of the few things wrong with the Harry potter Saga. There were so many characters who could have been fleshed out more.
