Author's Response: *shrugs* Eh, to each his dentrifice...
Very clever! I especially like the whole part about magic having something to do with why people are attracted to people of the same or different sex or both--very interesting! Also I had never really bought into the idea of Harry and Sirius together but this was really sweet and I like it a lot. It's going on my faves. Good job! ~GG
Author's Response: Thanks! :)
This is certainly a different piece of work. I've never been a fan of Sirius/Harry simply because I see them as having more of a father/son relationship.
But down to the actual writing, I think you've done a really good job. You definitely have talent and I like how you wrote about something different. It's certainly a hard relationship to tackle. I liked the whole pureblood explanation and how original it was.
The only other thing I would have to say is that Harry seems a bit OOC. Then again, it's hard to write him in such a way that he would be in love with Sirius so you did a good job with him in respect to that. I thought you did an excellent job with Sirius.
Overall, it's really good. Keep going for the strange type of fics, you have a nice touch on them. ^.^
You have agreat imagination! This is one of those OMG that is soooooooo unlikely stories!
Author's Response: *sporfle* Wait'll I have time to pen my Harry/Voldemort idea... ;)
Huh... I like how you explained the whole pureblood mentality, but I found the Sirius/Harry pairing kind of twisted (not because it's Slash but because I've always thought of theirs as a father/son relationship). Even though I'm not crazy about the plot, I thought the story itself was very well written. You've got a lot of talent!
Author's Response: Yeah, it is kinda tweaked out for the two of them...I dunno, there was just something about the image of Harry pining at the breakfast table every day in hopes of an owl from Sirius that made me wonder if there was something more. Unattainable can easily become irresistable, all that. And it would work both ways, of course--Sirius is obviously lonely too. Besides, who would rip into Harry's room in the middle of the night if not Sirius? It just had to be.
Huh...that's interesting. Personalizing the story of the reason for Pureblood's issue with muggleborns through the Harry/Sirius pairing. Kinda strange...somehow works though. Sirius' reactions especally.
A year and a half. A lot could happen. Oh man...and a lot DID happen. Including...
wow. and I thought I felt sorry for Harry before. Now in this light...
Great story. Made me think some, and that's always a good thing.
Author's Response: Now THAT was a compliment. :) Thanks!
I'll admit, it was a little strange, but a very interesting theory
Author's Response: :) Anything with the word "Freud" in it is bound to be strange.
*can't wait till next chapter*
I love it. =P
Author's Response: Sorry, Bex, but that's it :(. This was just a one-shot. I do have a very long chaptered fic "HP & the Heirs of Slytherin" if you like...
