Chapter: Chapt 4 - Back On Track

It's funny to think that even magical people have to keep fit with a 'use it or lose it' attitude toward their magic. Alicia was a very powerful witch so she needs to train to keep her magic strong. I think she's going to have a good time in Rome but I know she's thinking ahead to when Severus will leave Italy. Great chapter.

Author's Response: Like anything, the more you practice the better you are. Daniella has to be strong for what's to come. Dani

Chapter: Chapt 3 - A Trust That Bind

I'm reading while I eat lunch and I'm eating real slow so I can read more:D I just love this new story. I'm glad Dumbledore sent Severus to Alicia for healing but I can't help but think that they are both being manipulated--although maybe for the good this time. I think the most interesting part of this chapter was Alicia's use of her folk medicine to heal Severus. I could sense that she was collecting data from him. Great chapter.

Author's Response: Manipulation is Albus' middle name. Nothing is done without a reason. The prayers, rituals, and folk remedies in this story are real and the Italian spells she uses is actually Italian. I remember writing this story with an Italian dictionary at my elbow. Dani

Chapter: Chapt 2 - The Visitor

Oh heck, I'll just say it--Severus sounds so handsome:D I wish someone like that would walk up to my door but then I probably wouldn't know what to say. I loved that they went back to their game they used to play in the lab--is it adequate? I'm glad Alicia said she wasn't ready to return to the good fight yet. I'm guessing that she's going to come up with a lot of interesting remedies in her study of folk medicine. Great chapter.

Author's Response: Ah, this is where the love affair with Severus begins. Oh ya, he has my heart... It's nice that they can play. Read on... Dani

Chapter: Chapter 1 - Memories

I'm wondering what year this is--I'm thinking around 1980? I can't believe that Alicia is considered dead and Dumbledore wants her to return to service!! The man doesn't stop at anything does he? Wouldn't Alicia be distantly related to Roddy Lestrange? Weird that Axius came to the aid of family way before Alicia was born but another Lestrange betrayed her. Great chapter.

Author's Response: Yes, it's around the eighties. You can figure things out when they talk about events, and you can calculate time from the lat story when they mention how many years have passed. Albus has a one-track-mind, and no he doesn't stop. Yes, Alicia is related to the Lestranges. If you remember, Axius had two sons who were involved with Grindelwald. It wouldn't be a stretch to have a grandchild follow Voldemort. Dani

Chapter: Prologue

I just finished 'Creating a Ghost' and wanted to start on this one right away--although I don't know how much time I'll have to spend on it today. I've got a report I should finish:D I couldn't wait to see what had happened. So far I'm liking it a lot.

Author's Response: I can't remember itf this story was adjusted here or not. I have such trouble getting on and staying on this site. FF.net will definately be updated. Dani

Chapter: Prologue

I am reading the third story now and I am just simply *captured* by this whole story. I LOVE IT!!! From the intricate details about plants, where the character is staying, to even the medical jargon ( muggle or wizard) (real or fiction), to her moving on with her studies, to the progressing of Snape and Daniella's relationship ( I am a romance novel fan, so those parts of the stories appeal to me) I love this story, and I can't put it down... I find myself mad that I need to get sleep instead of reading some more chapters, I don't want this story to end and I will be saddened when it does. But my compliments, you did a great job as an author for this story, and I am happy to see that that Snape gets to have a full and wonderful life, and hate to see this end, but " all good things must end...or at least live in our dreams..."

Author's Response: I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying it so much. These stories were my passion for two years. They were all consuming, and at times, I felt like I was living them, I was so involved. You may wish to check out my bio. Dani

Chapter: Chapt 17 - 'Tis The Season

I hadn't noticed before that Saxon was very nearly born on Tom Riddle's birthday. Was that intentional?

Chapter: Epilogue

I think I love this part of the story even more than the first if thats possible. It's amazing how much detail you manage to put into the surroundings and the medical research, and what's even more weird is that it all makes sense. Sometimes in books I think the authors try to confuse readers with complicated explanations, but you've really done an excellent job of clearing out the jargan without losing the detail. I think all of the complexities of Daniella and Severus' relationship made this an even more engrocing tale, and i think my heart broke when Saxon was killed. It's odd how Severus left Daniella just as Harry left Ginny, and for the same reason, to protect her. Hope you don't mind the comparison, i just love analysing, ever since my English teacher introduced me to it. I can't wait to read the next part, I love how each one is longer than the next, the more the better. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Author's Response: Wow, thanks for the long compliment. Much appreciated.rnI do a lot of research for the stories. I feel it give the story more credibility. The places are real as is the medical research. I hope you enjoy the next as much as the first two. Dani

Chapter: Chapt 16 - Taking Risks

Hard as it is to consider this softer side of Snape, your story is great. I find I am drawn to return to see how the relationship progresses... Keep it up.

Author's Response: Glad to see you coming back. I firmly believe that everyone has a history that makes them the way they are. Snape didn't have one. I decided to create one...and then Book 7 came out...oh, well. At least my story is still plausible. Keep in touch. Dani
