*Tear* No really, there really was a tear, and I don't cry, like once a year at most.
This is a perfectly beautiful story.
Ok wait, I want to read it again.
Yes, chillingly beautiful, simple, refined. The story is just about Harry. No romance, no angst, no distractions. And you write so gorgeously..... Every phrase is important, planned, styled--and they all flow together, a smooth-flowing river, rippling dark and quick.
I could really go on forever with specific praises if you want =D but how's just this one for now:
The mood is really well set by the walk to the Closed Ward. Because the portraits lining the hall are dead heroes, it really promotes the feelings of silence, permenance, and being forgotten. Very sombre.
Ah lovely. I'm going to read the rest of your fics right now...

This is so sweet! It's terribly sad and a defenite tearjerker, but I loved it! I feel so bad for Brian! It must have been hard for him.
And I feel so bad for Harry. It must have been frustrating to try and grasp something that was just out of his reach.
But, I think that this is a fantastic story. Good job!
