This is such an incredible and breathtaking story. I am in awe of the details and intensity and characters. I wish I could say, "Oh, this was good" or "I really liked this part"--but, frankly, it's all so brilliantly arranged and orchestrated that I can't possibly pick and choose. Once again--Incredible!

Chapter: Chapter Sixteen: And Here Again He Lies

I'm loving this fic, I think Kingsley was amazing, that was such a fun chapter to read, and i usually find politics boring. And the appearance of Bill Weasley was a pleasant surprise too, he showed as most others in the Potterverse that Dumbledore has a godlike image, he is inherently good and can fix anything. I wonder if when each time people show so much faith in him, he feels a stab of sadness and regret, because of what happened in his youth. Anyway, I found Sirius' thoughts on his relationship to Lily particularly hard to read, it was such an emotional paragraph, emphasising the beautiful person Lily had been and the intense side of Sirius that you've so wonderfully captured throughout this fic, as opposed to the Jester we ordinarily see. And finally, I know Moody is excentric, but is he mental?! He's actually talking civily with Lucius Malfoy, an all but confirmed death eater. Anyway, I can't wait for an update, to see whether Sirius manages to succeed in tracking Pettigrew with blood magic, or if remaining in his animagus form will help Pettigrew evade capture. Oh, one last thing, who tried to attack the Dursley's, and was it Lily's blood protection that prevented it succeeding?

Just had to stop in the middle of reading this fic to say how brilliant it is. A very unique idea, I always loved what ifs. And I think the last line in this chapter has been my favourite so far. "In the long term, I'm not sure. For now?" Remus smiles brilliantly. "Hogwarts."
It just filled me with warmth, oh Merlin i wish i were a witch.

this is one of the most amazing stories i've read, when i first saw this story i sat down to just read a few a chapters and was up all night reading the whole thing. the whole idea about blood magic is great i love the idea of the house and grounds around it messing people up if they attack the owner. you have done very well, I can't wait for the next chapter to come out you have me hook line and sinker.

Chapter: Chapter Three: Auguries of Innocence

You are an amazing writer. Seriously. This story got my attention the minute I saw it in the Recently Added section, and I'm already hooked. Your sentences flow together brilliantly, and the wee bits of French you have going on flows nicely with the story too. Although Sirius acctually being able to speak French makes me chuckle. In a way I can see him being able to, but at the same time, it's like, er, really? Heehee.

I think I can safely say that this story is one I'll be following to the end :) Keep up the amazing work annd I'm off to read more.

Chapter: Chapter Five: Down the Grey Sky

I know this is my second review for this chapter, but I cannot help marvel at how well the potion sequence has been done. The fact that the spell is cast into the potion and is activated by the mixing is fascinating, and I wish that I could see more of it. But in truth, I am slightly confused how the whole things actually works - so the potion became the ink he needed to write the spell? A very interesting use - especially when one throws Dark Magic into the mix...

Chapter: Chapter Five: Down the Grey Sky

A well written chapter, and the use of Dark Magic is interesting and rather peculiar. Personally, I never thought Sirus would resort to such means, but the fact that he does reveals his desperation - and anger. The ingredients used actually make sense, in regards to the ritual and what Sirius wants to do, even though he is trespassing into an area where he really shouldn't be (as Phineas smugly points out). Well done and keep it up!

Chapter: Chapter Fourteen: And the Dark Street Winds and Bends

Firstly: wow! I am loving this story, indeed I joined mugglenet purely so I could read it, and have certainly not been dissapointed so far. All I could ask for and more to spare. As I've only just joined the site, and being slightly blonde, I'm not entirely certain how long it has been since you last updated, so I thought I'd just through a plea for continuation out into the void of the internet. Because this story keeps me on a knife edge and keeps all characters perfectly themselves and frankly, despite excessive procrastination over my exam period, is one of the best Harry Potter fics I've read for a while.

Author's Response: There's more coming, I swear! Work's been unbearably hectic in the run-up to the election, but I am still writing, I promise! Thanks for the feedback! It's great to know that ppl are reading/enjoying this.
