Kind of interesting, you do have a few holes in the plot. One if Harry knows about leviuscorpus that would mean the story takes place around or after the 6th book and therefore would have to travel a lot more than just 15 to 17 years to the past. If James and company were still in school it would be more like 20 to 25 years in the past. Other than that it seems pretty sweet.

That is a great first chapter!! I think, though, that you took a really long time on the fight that didn't mean much and a short time on the time travel itself which could have been a chapter be itself. Maybe you could do more backround on the charicters and why hermione and remus clash so much.
