I was projecting into the future for the Harry/Ginny romance. I also think Harry learned a lot about love, family and relationships during his years at Hogwart's and hanging around the Weasley's and Hermione. We all have our own ideas about where we'd like the relationships to go in books. How boring would it be if we all thought alike?

Author's Response: Quite true--differences are the fun part.

He was part of Fawkes magic would be my conclusion. 'Course since he said he was there for Fawkes it didn't take much stretch. I love how Sirius got his magic back, and Harry did have to sacrifice his blood for it to happen. You write so well it's so easy to "see" everything that's happening, as if you were there. I'm still not okay with the romantic pairings, but it's your story, not mine. I can only praise the way you write it.

Author's Response: Peredhil: Well, not exactly. You might try googling some of the foreign words he says and see what they mean--and what language it is. That'll point you toward the answer of that mystery.

You've written a really great picture of Draco and Harry's first meeting. This is a side of Draco you could never imagine from the HP series, though the scene on the Astronomy Tower made you wonder what really be happening in his head. It still makes me want to vomit thinking that Harry would be in love with Ondossi.

Author's Response: Yeah, I was reading another person's fic about the whole HP story from Draco's perspective and gave some thought to how he might have reacted to that first meeting. I think even back then Draco was too smart to alienate a total stranger without at LEAST making sure he wasn't from an important family first. From there it's not hard to imagine that HE thought HARRY was acting like a jerk, even as Harry was thinking that DRACO was the jerk. As for Harry and Tura... well, to each his own. I think he'd see a kindred spirit in this other abandoned, unwanted soul, not to mention someone who is helping him become a better wizard. Look at his other favorite adults, for example--Dumbles, Lupin, Sirius... All people who basically took him under their wing and nurtured him. Tura has done that, too, and on top of it all she's also a girl, not too much older than he is. I can't imagine Harry NOT getting a crush on her, really.

Another few steps that make up an amazing stride.

Author's Response: Thanks. This was one of the first chapters I wrote, actually... just had this vision of lost, lonely Draco slowly going mad from being all alone with his thoughts and regrets. I think we saw a lot more to him on the Astronomy Tower AND when he was crying alone with Moaning Myrtle in her bathroom. Harry wasn't the only kid whose life was messed up by Voldy...

I meant to put a name to who I thought Ondossi was referring to a couple chapters ago. Snape is the only one I can think of who fits her description. I'm guessing he was not in love with Lily in your Bk 7. Or maybe he found Ondossi in later years and she loves him but he doesn't really love her? Nothing is as it seems. Your son is loyal, but overall I must admit I'm partial to DH. I love the explanations you've come up with, and a lot of the stuff you've written. I just love Snape's memories and Dumbledore's confessions at King's Cross, and the Epilogue

Author's Response: You may be on the right track, but you'll have to read on to find out. :)

Another interesting chapter and twist. She's using his guilt to make sure he really is ready for Voldemort. I'm beginning to think she had this planned all along, as the only way he could get enraged enough want to kill. You are good.

Author's Response: *nods* Sort of. That was definitely why she was kind of mean to Harry at first--she wanted to antagonize him enough that he'd be ready to take that next step--because killing isn't the type of spell you can do with a kindly heart.

Now there was something I didn't expect. Well, actually I was thinking there was some connection, but that wasn't it.

Author's Response: Well, the story IS called "HEIRS of Slytherin..." :)

Think I just lost my lunch, lol. Even in an AU I can't imagine Harry with anyone but Ginny. They've been perfect since Harry met the Weasley's at King's Cross. I'm glad Sirius found out his brother turned out to be a good guy. Will they think of using the Sword of Gryffindor to kill the Horcrux? Did Sirius become a Horcrux? That's a new and interesting thought.

Author's Response: Talk about losing lunch! Ginny was what, 10 years old, and had a bad case of Hero Worship. No one is "just perfect" for someone else at age 10, or 15... or even 20 in most cases. And on top of that, Harry and Ginny couldn't be more different--she's from a huge loving family, he was abused and unwanted. She'd make a great sister and friend for him, but once the honeymoon was over they'd find out they had nothing in common. And for people who live to their 180's that would be one LONG marriage...

I certainly hope Harry wouldn't become a snake if he really became an Animagus. That would be a little too much for me. I know the other shoe still hasn't dropped, but I'm not sure I'm going to like it when it does.

Author's Response: He's not. He was experiencing her magic when she's doing the Animagus thing, but he can't necessarily do it himself--and even if he could, I'd imagine his shape would be magically determined, like Sirius being a dog or Peter beiing a rat.

Gross is the only word I can come up with for that. I'm still looking for that knife to reappear, though I may be looking in the wrong direction. And why can't the Sisterhood work with Sirius? How's anyone going to find out?

Author's Response: Gulp... you caught me. Someone else pointed out, "Why didn't Mrs. Weasley help Sirius?" I kinda goofed there. Maybe everyone lost faith in him after he turned around and allegedly killed Peter and all the muggles.

WOW is all I can say. The mirrors were retrieved because Sirius gave one to Harry. Hmmmmnnnn wonder about that knife. And I believe that was the Lady of the Lake, Guinevere.

Author's Response: Not quite. Remember I'm a Tolkien fan. Angrist is from the Silmarillion.

Little Whinging maybe?

This is fantastic.

Author's Response: *grin* Yeah, the Sirius backstory was my favorite part to write.

And now Percy is getting in on the act. One of these days I'm going to start laughing and not be able to stop.

Author's Response: Cool! :-)

So Harry is going to become blood-brother to Sirius maybe? Can't wait to see how you write this one.

Author's Response: Mmmmaybe, maybe not. That's the thing about prophecies, one never really knows how to interpret them...

Okay, maybe three or four other shoes. Sirius, Petunia, Victor, and then Remus finally pops the question? This is getting to be more fun than I imagined. I'm still thinking all this is not going to end up being good.

Author's Response: Hee hee--well, Petunia was a pretty big shoe, I'd forgotten she was in this chapter. Glad you're enjoying!

I'm looking for that other shoe that I'm sure will drop any minute.

Author's Response: It'll come--it's not a HUGE shoe, though, don't be disappointed.

Okay, I suspected something like this, but I'm still betting all is not as it seems.

Author's Response: Heh, well, mostly, in this particular case, but there IS a catch coming up soon...

My, my. Harry should probably have asked Dobby where Kreacher slept and maybe saved himself a lot of time. 'Course then they would never have discovered Voldemort's body. There's always a reason stories take the route they do.

Author's Response: Well, exactly. But even if he'd asked, I doubt Kreacher would have told the other elves where he slept--he wasn't exactly the most sociable guy.

Nope, no one ever tried to explain the missing 24 hrs. JKR seems to have left it for each reader to make up their own version.

Author's Response: As I thought. Heh, well... I did , obviously.
