Very, very lovely. The imagery, the realization of something that was -never- realized, all is spectacular.

And, apart from that, I have to tell you that I respect you for your beliefs; I read a comment you wrote about genderless love. When I read your works, I don't feel like you're writing // because 'it's hot'. but because it's okay, all love is okay. all love is much more than okay; it's beautiful.

You really make your characters beautiful.

Author's Response: Wow! Thank you. I think this might be one of the nicest reviews I've ever got. Thank you very much! I'm very happy you liked my story, and that you agree with my views.

Once again, thank you!

Yes, 'tis lovely.

I loved your descriptive language! Remus was nicely in character, well, as well as he can be when he's in a slash fic, and I didn't actually mind the slash that much! I was glad you kept it to such a minimum, though.

Looking over it, I realise now that he spent a lot of time talking to himself/the Veil/Sirius (well, duh, that was virtually the whole fic!) but at the time I didn't realise it. Usually when I'm reading something like that, I start yawning, thinking "monologue!" and begging for another character to come in and join the conversation. That I didn't do that here is a mark of how well written it was!

And, I also liked the "communication from beyond the Veil". It was artfully done, and you managed to pull it off without cliches. Unlike me.

Speaking of cliches, I thought the letter could have been substituted by a flash-back, perhaps to their last encounter? Maybe Sirius told Remus he loved him, Remus got uncomfortable because it was the first time he'd referred to it since he got out of Azkaban, and managed to close the conversation without telling Sirius he loved him?

I still think you could have done it without the slash, though. I was thinking that especially at the beginning.

All in all, a very nice fic, sad, contemplative, and left me thinking!

Love Phia the Labrat

Author's Response: Yay! Thanks for being my test subject. The reason for this experiment is to begin to realise my dream of a perfect attitude to sexuality and love. You see, I dream of a genderless society. One where you can dress or act however you want without gender roles standing in the way and, first and foremost, where you can love whomever you want without anyone saying anything. I want people to love people, not their genders. Love is never wrong.

I know this sounds extremely overly idealistic. Anyway, I think that every time I get someone to accept homosexuality as love humanity gets one step closer to that. Silly, huh?

Beautiful, really.

The language you use is exquisite and makes the reader feel they know the characters even more than before - the simple descriptions of the warmth, comfort and love, Sirius's voice, well it was stunning.

I take my hat off to you for an excellent piece. xx

Author's Response: Thank you very much for your kind review! I am honoured, and very glad that you enjoyed this story. Wow, it appears this is likely to become my most liked story so far, lol. :)

That was so has to be one of my favorite Remus/Sirius fics. The plot was amazing. I'm jealous that I couldn't come up with it myself, haha. ^.^

Remus is well in character and the best thing about it is that you don't go overboard with his thoughts and emotions. Amazing...I almost cried. You get a spot in my favorites list. :)

Author's Response: Wow! I'm honoured, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for this review, it feels so great to know that someone likes what I write! :)

Wow. I've read a lot of grief fics today, and so far this ties with Let The Rain Fall by Lily_Evens34. You have captured grief in every escense of the word, and you've described the sense of loss and the feeling of accepance at last.

A wonderful one-shot, m'dear.

Author's Response: Thank you very much! I'm so glad you liked it, and thank you for your review!

This was amazing!! I started crying just now... Sirius was one of my favorites! I support Moony and Padfoot, and this did it justice. Now to juss stop crying....

Author's Response: If I moved someone to tears, that's a small personal victory. Glad you liked it, and thank you for reviewing!
