Chapter: Chapter 33: I Can See For Miles

I've finally finished your're story, and it had some excellent ideas, and I love the direction it went in. However I think a few things weren't quite settled, such as Dudley (unless I've missed something, and then please correct me). It doesn't say it's finished, although the final words sound like the end of a story, but if you could think of a plot, I'd either write more on this one, or a sequel, where a few loose ends can be tied up, or you could have Harry finally defeat Voldemort.

I had a few small issues with it... It seems far too intense, and I would have had it take place over a longer period of time. They also never got to start the new school yeah, which you might not have wanted to do, but I felt there was little point stating that Lupin and the Flamels would be teaching there if they never actually got to school.

Finally, I thought some of the characterisation, particularly Harry, Ginny and Sirius didn't always work. It didn't seem to follow with what JKR established about them in the books released before this was written. Sirius seemed very Americanised, and as much as I love all stories which he gets brought back, he seemed very different. Lets just say he was changed beyond the veil ^.^

Overall though, it's still one of my favourite fics. Can we hope for more?

Chapter: Chapter 33: I Can See For Miles

Okay, it was a really great sort of crisis and I love the way it played out. I know there'll be more and I'll complain, but I'll read them anyway. The humor is everything I could ask for, extremely cynical, or dry, or sick, or something most people wouldn't appreciate or understand, just like my sense of humor. The Sorting Hat is, as usual, right again. And if you write as far as kids, James Sirius is a good name.

Chapter: Chapter 32: It's Hard

Uh oh, another crisis to deal with. I know, I kinw, lots of people love having them every other chapter, makes for exciting reading. I'm not one of those people. however the story is definitely worth reading so I will follow to the end.

Chapter: Chapter 31 - Had Enough

There is a very big "something" going on and I have a lot of very farfetched ideas. And I'm sure none of them are anywhere close. I'm not sure Dumbledore is going to wake up. This might be his end in the tale.
Narcissa was definitely taken by Voldy and friends, probably to get Draco to cooperate in whatever they're trying.
Cassandra knows that what she's "seen" definitely involves Jamie along with Harry and Ginny.

Chapter: Chapter 30: Call Me Lightning

I like Hermione's parent's. They are very obviously not stupid and know their daughter has kept things from them. I think them meeting Harry, Ginny and Jamie will go a long way towards getting back on the right track.
I wouldn't trust Draco as far as I can throw him. He might not be ready to join Daddy and Voldy this minute, but he's still wrapped up in everything he's learned at Daddy's knee. He's wanting to play both ends against the middle and try to land on the winning side, and he still thinks Voldy is going to win.

Chapter: Chapter 29: The Dirty Jobs

I do believe Jamie is definitely her brother's sister. Harry would go and find out for himself, not just believe what other's told him and Jamie is proving to be the same. I don't necessarily have a good feeling about Cassandra being back. Voldy and friend's were just a little too eager to present her to Dumbledore. Decidely fishy. It would be interesting to know what she might have "seen" regarding Harry and Ginny, And maybe Jamie? Maybe in another life Ginny and Jamie were twins.

Chapter: Chapter 28: Faith in Somthing Bigger

Bad creature very good to go after Voldy. Better if bad creature killed Voldy. But we know that's not supposed to happen. Then again, it's your story. Molly is really the ultimate Mum. You definitely would have to have a death wish to go after one of her children. She would hunt you down and kill you. Jamie is going to become a very powerful witch one of these days, and as protective of Harry and Ginny as they are of her. That was a beautifully written scene between Molly and Jamie. And I'm guessing theh are going to give Albus some Elixer of Life. The thing with the three Phoenix' is baffling me. I keep thinking that Albus, Nicholas and Merlin are going to die and Fawkes, Pymander and Praetor are going to attach themselves to Harry, Ginny and Jamie? That sounds a little far fetched, but I'm not up to date on Phoenix lore.

Chapter: Chapter 27: Amazing Journey

Dark magic at work everywhere. This is definitely a slight bit more intriguing than I originally thought. I am, of course, hoping everything will turn out for the best, as in Harry and the good guys win, but I'm thinking there is going to be a lot of stuff going on before that happens. Praetor belongs to Merlin, that I wouldn't have guessed, but I like it. Many more crisis are going to happen and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like all of them.

Chapter: Chapter 26: New Song

I am so loving this story. I'm getting some thoughts about what might be going on, but I could be reading what I think should happen, not what you're writing. I'm thinking Dumbledore, Nicholas and probably Perenelle will be gone at the end of the year, as in dead, that at least Fawkes will move to Harry and I'm not sure but maybe Pymander also, and Praetor will somehow be there for Jamie. I don't think they will bring back those who have died, like James, Lily and Cassandra because that would be way to dark. Sirius was in a sort of inbetween place I think, so he hadn't really quite gone all the way to death. It's obvious Voldy wants Jamie for some reason, but I don't think he's going to get her and she's going to play a part in helping Harry in the final defeat of Voldy.

Chapter: Chapter 25: Dangerous

Yeah, no huge crisis, just a small problem. We know Voldy is a disaster in the making anywhere, so I never count him as a new problem. I'm sure there will be another huge crisis soon, it's just a fact of life in the wizarding world and can't be helped. I just wish there was a way writer's could avoid them, but then it wouldn't be the world we all know and love. I'm liking the new family dynamics, but Uncle Severous? I'm thinking not.

Chapter: Chapter 24: Music Must Change

Good things are happening, Curious about Sirius little sidetrip. Ron has finally started to mature to the extent he knows he loves Hermione. And you writer's still put too many side plots and "exciting" events in your stories. When will any of you realize it's not necessary to have more than one or two crisis' per story? Three or four is more than overkill, it makes the reader just want to say f... it and go to another story.

Chapter: Chapter 23: Don't Look Away

Again, you writer's like to make everything more difficult than it needs to be. There are times when you need more side action/mystery, and times when you don't. This is one of the "don'ts". You almost make me want to forget reading the rest of the story. I'm sure you think it makes it more exciting, but it really just makes you want to throw up.

Chapter: Chapter 22: Eminence Front (Part 2)

Okay, I was a little hasty in saying writer's needlessly keep things going. This is still a great story and well told. I'm hoping you still check the reviews here at MNFF. Patience is not a virtue I have in any quantity. I want it all, and want it now! LOL

Author's Response: Indeed, I do check reviews, and thank you. I've enjoyed yours.

This is a really good story. But again, why the h... do writer's think it's necessary to add so many little side stories and mysteries? Get on with the story. LOL

Chapter: Chapter 21: Let's See Action

This is really great. My only problem, I hate going through all the side problems getting to finding Jamie. Why can't writer's just stop with all these little side problems? Unfortunately I have no patience. I want them to find her now and forget all the other stuff, LOL

Chapter: Chapter 20: Goin' Mobile

I don't think the USA is ready for Sirius and the FOUR!. It should be an interesting visit, and I can't wait until Harry meets his sister. I'm betting her scar is from whatever spell was used to remove her from Lily when she was killed. And I can just see Sirius becoming Padfoot on the streets of Atlanta!

Well, at least we know she's alive. This is the greatest twist I can imagine. I may not get any sleep for the next 24 hrs trying to find out if she's found by the good guys first.
