this story, if you reread it after part III of the epilogues, becomes even more excellent.
in fact, i'll say that as you write each successive story, the previous stories get even better. =)
on a more sober note, the third story (nightshades) gave me nightmares for a week =(
but that is also a testament to the sheer brilliance of your writing. =)
