Author's Response: ARGH. I just hit the wrong button & erased this entire thing. Let's try again. Good questions. In fact, I avoided answering the first one in the fic because I wasn't sure how to explain it, & eventually decided it wasn't crucial to the fic so I left it out. But I sort of imagined that after Harry & Ginny broke up, they just never got back together. After a year of hunting Voldemort, Harry & Ginny just grew apart. Yes, they liked each other very much, but never really got a chance to build up a strong relationship, & it died. Sad, I suppose, & a lot of Harry/Ginny fans would argue otherwise, but I think it's possible. They didn't love each other - yet - & with enough distance, their romantic feelings for each other crumbled. I'm sorry if that's a crappy answer, but as I said before, I didn't spend a lot of time thinking it out because I didn't consider it crucial to the story I'm telling. As for Ginny meeting Jonathon, I expect to be explaining that in a later chapter. I haven't got every detail planned out but have an idea that will hopefully answer your question. Phew.
