Ahhhhhhhh!!! This was wonderful! I always imagined Lily and James with the same themes as Pride and Prejudice, but you've completely nailed it. I've only seen the movie with Keira Knightely, but I loved all the comparisons between that storyline and yours.
My favorite part was the kiss in the last chapter (along with all the scenes with James and Lily yelling at each other). You got all the emotion down perfectly.
Now I want to watch the movie– hey, maybe even read the book. =P
This is a favorite.
