Wow, this was the best chapter yet, shame it's the end. That party was hilarious! I don't suppose it'd be much fun for those involved though, so maybe in future they should all do that spell of Hermione's to check their drinks are safe. Prof McGonagall was great! And it was so funny when she said all that stuff to Snape and he said it was alright because he hated her too. Ron and Draco were a bit of a shock, but so long as they're happy. Glad Ginny and Harry stayed on the periphery, they don't need anything messing their engagement up. And Fred and George, what a pair! I just love them! It's nice that Remus is there for everyone to talk to like that, but I'm glad Hermione reassured him too. And thank Merlin that Severus and Hermione sorted things out. I'm so happy, what a great ending. I'll look out for the epilogue.

Oh.. such a strong chapter overall, but the ending paragraph was rather weak.
It lacks the emotion that, IMO, should be conveyed. But the story is your work and i think that you have done a great job overall with characterization and plot advancement.

Wow, I'm surprised I never reviewed this! It's been in my favorites for so long! I love this fic, I remember reading it a while ago... I really do like the Hermione/Snape fics, and I only know a few people who can really pull it off (You and Subversa for example) You're a great writer.

I'm getting a bit paranoid now when anyone ingests anything in this story, I'm afraid if I were a witch I'd be taking a leaf from Moody's book. I love that friends episode too, it's one of my favourites. The fact that Joey liked the beef trifle was even more amusing. I didn't think it odd that Harry's party wasn't on his actual birthday, when arranging a meal out for a special occasion for instance, we make sure it's at a time when everyone can make it. Anyway, great fic, can't wait to see what this potion does.
