Very good one shot. Ron was very much in character. Great job! I enjoyed it.
It's good, but Ron says bloody hell way too much in the chapter, it was about 4 times, which doesnt seem like much, but it distracted me from the rest of the story.
Author's Response: How could 'bloody hell' distract you? Anyway, thanks for your opinion, although I'm keeping the 'bloody hells' in there because I like them.
Interesting approach. I liked it! Keep up the great work and keep me posted on new stories. P.S. Your on my favourites!!!!!! :-)
Author's Response: Why thankyou, Harrypotter_Gurl. I am extremely flattered.
Sorry about my comment with it being dull. But I do know that is Ron's thought, I guess the thought of reading too much paragraphs made it seem that way. Well people have different styles, and I'm sorry for judging your story that way. I sort of know how Ron thinks, most of the time...I feel he's always trying to show himself off, just to gain some of the spotlight that he wish he had. Like being the youngest of the brothers, its like he has to find his own unique quality that differs him from his brothers! lol. But good read over all...I guess I had to read it again, to get the just of it! Hope you continue to write more...and this time. No more fic-lets...I can't stand it when people write really good short stories! lol. Peace Out!!
Author's Response: Yeah, well, I'm working on a longer fic that will actually have chapters! Yayness!
Absoltuely great. I think youve portrayed Ron just as I see him; with very simple emotions, in a way he's very naive and childlike. He doesn't understand the whys and the hows, all he understands is that Harry is in trouble and he will do anything to help him. Its so sweet!!!!!!
Author's Response: Thanks for the great review hpmaniac666! That's exactly how I picture him as well. Not very perceptive of the little details, but very perceptive of the big picture! Wow, I'm rambling again.
Hi, thanks for reading my FF. I'm glad some sees the difference in my story. I think its unique in a way that...it still has the Hogwarts themes as to classes and Professors, but I guess I'm sort of basing it off of, not really the books. So to speak, because everyone has so many theories of how the 6th book will go...and I'm not adding Voldemort or Death Eaters in my story...I can't handle the madness! lol. Well enough about my story let's talk about yours, shall we. I'm your first review! Hooray!
I know you probably think I'm the most dense or dumbest person or cruel for that matter, person on this site for saying this. But it was sort of dull. I'm sorry if that came out harsh, but it had no sense of flow or style to it, it looked seemed as if I was watching a black and white movie. With no real expressions of the character...I could see that it was in Ron's POV, due to the fact that Quidditch and Keeper was brought up. But it seemed as if he hated playing Quidditch and that it was so dull, when I thought it was the other way around. Well you can correct me if I'm wrong, which most of the time I am. Like for me, I keep thinking that Harry didn't kiss Cho Chang, but half of everyone else thinks he did. Well I prove false! lol. I guess that's how I am. But I hope you still continue to write. I liked your view of Ron's progression after their situation at the Ministry. If you feel mad at my comments, I don't mind recieving the same treatment in return, but I am being honest. Even if you might view differently, and hope not to take it personally or to criticize your writing skills, whatsoever. Peace Out!!
Author's Response: Well, thanks for reviewing. I'm sorry if you felt that it was dull, but you've got to realize that these are his thoughts. And, I wasn't trying to portray him as someone who doesn't like Quidditch. You know how Ron reacts. Any kind of bad weather and you're not likely to see him up in the air enjoying himself. But just the same. Thanks for reviewing!
wow, i usually only like romance stories, but i LOVED this one! i love how ron is very active in your story, hope 2 here bak from u! ~teleri grint (yes i am married to rupert grint) (in my mind)
Author's Response: Yay, I'm glad it's such a hit! I usually only like romance as well, but once ina while a story will pop up and it's absolutely great. You should really read Vold's First Death Muncher Meeting.
