oh my god I finally got to the last posted chapter and....THERE'S A CLIFFIE ! ! ! I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
how come camilla didn't stay in contact with jon after she left home if he was her best friend? I wish you would just get him out of the picture. he reminds me of one of those American Eagle clothing models--all face and no substance. sex at first oppertunity? what an idiot.
Author's Response: Of course there's a cliffie! Did you really expect less? Well, with Jon and Camilla it's like a lot of friendships. You grow apart after you leave school. A lot of people don't like Jon. I do, but I think I'm definitely in the minority.
what a soap opera moment. I can't believe your muse made you do that. seriously.
Author's Response: My muse watches Days of Our Lives religiously. LOL. And she drinks a lot. Did I mention that?
"She had lied to him, deceived him, and caused him to lose his memory. But she had done it because she loved him. "---I was watching Miss Marple on tv last night--you know, the agatha christie series. all of the murderers seem to have killed for love, so the illicit lovers can be together. terrible, isn't it?
and that Mrs snape bit at the end reminds me of the most recent Pride and Prejudice movie...
Author's Response: Yeah, it's kind of similar.
wow. intense chapter. I'm actually kind of surprised snape's mom is still alive; I guess I just assumed she was dead.
Author's Response: Well, we don't know much about her, so anything's possible.
so he was a wide-eyed innocent (comparatively) aftertaking the potion... and now he has, for the second time in his short life, had to watch everyone he trusts let him down. how aweful.
Author's Response: Exactly. Hence the title of the story! You're right; he gets hurt and let down by everyone he loves.
I never thought about snape not knowing the plan when he made the vow. that would make finding out about the plan awkward...
Author's Response: Yeah, that was my first thought when I read HBP. Now I've kind of changed my mind and think he knew all along.
does an unforgivable curse hold even if you don't remember anything about it or who it was about (ie draco)?
and how come snape didn't recognise draco as the blonde boy being intimidated by voldemort?
Author's Response: Do you mean an Unbreakable Vow? I can't really talk about that... At that point, Snape hadn't met Draco yet. It was still summer break.
I love flirtacious!Severus. I'm really enjoying this fic so far. On to Chpater 9! :D
*will leave a more in depth review on a later chapter*
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! : )
You are winding this about in strange ways, aren't you?
Author's Response: How so?
I hate narcissa. grrrrr...and I didn't guess it was her because you said "golden hair". I tend to think of her as white-blonde.
Author's Response: Narcissa's fun to write. I thought it was obvious it was her when I wrote it, but I'm glad it was a bit of a mystery for a little while. : )
No, no..it's Severus who's mean. He shouldn't jump to conclusions, and should trust his wife more.
Author's Response: Yeah, he should. But he's very insecure and is quick to believe whatever story he manufactures in his head.
this is such a good story, but I'm glad I didn't start reading it earlier...the cliffies would have killed me!
Author's Response: Yeah, they can be pretty brutal. Glad you found my story! : )
just thinking--since snape is teaching dark arts rather than potions, there will be less familiarity to jog his memory.
I think I would be really frightened in his situation. possibly the reason he is nervous (like me) is that without his memories, he has very little control of what is going on around him. at least he is good at pretending.
what did voldemort do when snape got married?
Author's Response: Yeah, Snape is in a very sticky situation. He's definitely scared. You'll find out about what Voldemort knows about Camilla later on.
does this take place during sixth year?
Author's Response: Yes.
is his remembering to apparate like remembering how to ride a bike or braid hair--muscle memory?
Author's Response: Sort of. It's more like instinct, though.
AHHHHH!!!! I don't know your OC, but I wonder if snape ever showed her that tatoo....AAHHHHH!!!! what a cliffie...
Author's Response: Keep reading! Thanks! : P
No flaming pitchforks from me!
Author's Response: Good to know! Thanks! : D
I didn't think she would have sex with him. She was lonely and starved for affection, she didn't come over as a horny bitch in heat to me. I'm still fully confident that she and Severus will be reconciled by the end of the story.
I thought that Jon calling it your little reunion' showed that he held her feelings for her husband in contempt.
That means her subconscious probably registered that comment and that could have played a big part in her rejection of his sexual overtures. That's really ratherFreudian of me, and I a supporter of Jung's theory.
Author's Response: You're exactly right. She was lonely and depressed and needing someone. And yeah, Jon doesn't really understand why she loves Severus and doesn't think he deserves her. Thanks for the review! : )
You are KILLING ME. This is just so horrible... with the back and the forth and the back and the forth... Cam needs Severus... Severus needs Cam... end of story...
you're trying to kill me aren't you... you are....
Excellent as usual. :)
Author's Response: Sorry! They do need each other. I try convincing them, but they're very stubborn. : )
She didn't do anything too bad... ;) but I imagine it would be hard to fool around on someone who could always just poke around in your head and see if you've been naughty or nice! Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide...keep it coming!
Author's Response: Very true. That Legilimency thing could be a pain for a cheater! But they were on a break! Ah, Friends. : P Thanks for reading! : )
