Chapter: II. Gently Down the Stream

*claps hands and squeals*

I finked it was going to be different! Well, I am surprised.

My favorite line from this chapter:

He wanted to rip it off the wall, scrunch it into a ball and jump and stomp on it, as if doing so would declare it invalid.

I love how it shows Sirius's desperate emotion at what is happening.

The one and only problem I have with this is that Sirius didn't seem any different around James and Lily and Harry. I figured he'd be near tears, but he was acting as though he's been hanging out with the Potters all along and had only just figured something out instead of having experienced Peter's betrayal and the death of his best friend.

Other than that, I am captivated.

Oh, and the ending was an excellent cliffie. If the next chapter wasn't already up, I'd die.

Chapter: I. Row, Row, Row Your Boat.

I owe you for a looot of banners...>.>

The first thing I noticed about this story was that I loved it. Tash, this story is fascinating. I'm so excited to see what's going to come next. When I read the summary, I just got so excited and then I couldn't stop reading if I wanted to. (And I don't. ;])

Your writing style is so...what's the word...? Entrancing. Captivating. I love what occurred beyond the infamous Veil. With the seeing and the looking, and Monday Lovegood, and Sirius freaking out...

I also love how Sirius was confused as to why Harry and Lupin were all upset when he went back into the veil.

Anyway, that's enough for now. I can't wait to see what comes next!!

Chapter: II. Gently Down the Stream

“Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit!”
“It’s the only form of wit.”

Well, now, that just sounds like something the two of them would say! Hysterical.

I don't think Peter would have called Sirius 'Black', seeing as how they were friends...I also don't think Peter would have left a letter, because in the books, he is much more of a jerk and acts like one without warning.

“He’s already come,” hissed a voice behind Peter. Standing in the doorway was a man, with soulless red eyes and slits for nostrils.

Ooh...nice ending!

Author's Response: I think there is a lot more to Peter Pettigrew than meets the eye--I don't think that he actually meant to be a jerk (although, he certainly is one!) but he was too cowardly to do anything about it. And there needed a way for James to get his proof, anyway, but I guess that could have been done with Peter walking in with Lord Voldemort. :) Glad you liked the ending!

This is the first AU story I've ever read, and I have to say, you've really piqued my interest! I love Sirius, and I love that you've found a way to bring him back! Kudos to you just for thinking of this genius idea!

I love the whole idea of the boat bringing him back to the world and I also think your characterization of Sirius Black is very in character. I can totally picture his frustration and him yelling his name. I love this story!! :)

Author's Response: I'm happy that I seem to be encouraging more people to read AU. :D I don't think Sirius's characterisation was as strong at the start of the chapter, but I'd like to think it got better at the end. Thanks for reviewing!

Chapter: VII: Tampering With Time

It was slightly confusing at times, but I guess time travel can do that. Hehe! I can't wait to see what happens! I can tell exciting things are approaching!! ~Sara

Author's Response: yep- there's only two or three chapters left so we're nearly reaching the end. Time travel is so confusing isn't it? Sirius thinks so, anyway. ;) thanks for the review! :)
