awww!! this story is so sweet! it nearly made me cry...
Author's Response: Thank you so much. What do you mean nearly... Dammit, I bawled my eyes out writing it... I'm just kidding, I'm glad you enjoyed it and it moved you in some way. It means a great deal to me.
that was so beautiful...sniff...got me crying, in happy way. i thin kyou got ron and hermione's personalityes/reactions to harry death so so so well. a really brilliant story. well done! -zoe
Author's Response: Thank you so much. You know, I'm really happy you thought I got Ron and Hermione right. Later on, when I did Harry's kids, I wasn't as worried about "getting it right," because they were characters that I had created, but I was a little apprehensive about Ron and Hermione because people know those two, and this is an extremely emotional thing for them, so, well... I'm just really glad you liked it, and I'm very grateful for the review.
Oh my God! Im sitting here crying my eyes out. I knew you were one of my favorite authors for a reason
Author's Response: God, thank you so much. And I'm really honored you would have me as a favorite author. I'm also encouraged every time someone tells me they cried through this because I was a friggin baby throughout the whole thing. Mostly because I wrote it with my two daughters in mind the whole time. thank you for the review.
Wow--I've never read anything like it. (not a bad thing)
It's kinda weird thinking of Harry as old. He seems almost too in touch emotionaly, but who knows what the future holds!
Very powerful. It's kind of cool that there wasn't mention of the war. It was a part of Harry's life, but he'd moved on.
Author's Response: Thank you so much I'm very glad you got something out of it.
Author's Response: Actually, now that I know what to say. Yeah, um, all my stories are in the same universe, and really, this is the ending. Much of the point of my epilogues series, which should be comin' round the pike eventually, is about after the war, and letting the story shift away from Harry and his peers. I guess what I'm saying is that I have many things planned in the future that will help Harry put the war where it belongs... In the past.
That was good. A bit sappy, I must say, but there were some very, very good moments. Several of the lines were hard hitting and moving. Over all, it was good if not a tad bit melodramatic. But good job! I especially loved the remarks about Ron and Hermione's rows. Too true, too true. Nice job.
Author's Response: Thank you so much. Yeah, it's kinda funny, I just love writing R/Hr stuff, but most of my stories focus around H/G. I guess the reason for that is because I'm of the mind that once R/Hr get it, they really get it, and there's really no need to keep going back to them. With H/G, though, I predict a slightly more rocky future, something you'll see when I get Epilogues Part I: Shadows pushed through the queue. I've got some retooling to do to it before I can get it up here though, so just keep your eyes out, okay? Thanks again for the review.
Very touching, and I love the idea of the Trio together even at the end like this. My only quibble: Tom? Would Harry and Ginny really give their son Voldemort's name? Other than that, I really enjoyed this story.
Author's Response: Actually, trust me you are not the first to ask that question, nor will you be the last, I'm sure. Unfortunately, I haven't even gotten around to pushing the story in which the character development that makes this story make a little more sense through the queue, but trust me, there are definitely something that I explore which might make this more feasible. Since so many people have asked that question, by the by, I do plan on putting a more detailed explanation on my livejournal soon, so please visit grimmrook.livejournal.com from time to time. Thank you so much for reviewing, it means a lot to me.
that was SO SAD this is my first dark/angsty ive ever read! I cried! But its like happy almost. I must say you are 1 of the most talented writers! You should persue it for a career!
Author's Response: HEYA!!! How ya been? I thank you so much. Don't worry, I cried my eyeballs out as I wrote it, so, you're not alone. I'd like to pursue writing as a career but... Well, I think I'm a little old to consider it anymore. Thank you so much for continuing to read my stories, I should have another one coming through the works here soon.
Superb. Very well written, refreshingly different setting and situation -- thank you.
Author's Response: No, thank you. I think one of the most nerve wracking things about this story is that I put so much emotion into it, that I think I fret nonstop about how it will be received, so your kind words are very nice to hear. Hopefully you'll check out my other fics...
