Your characterization of the golden trio is very good, especially Hermione. "Don’t be stupid, Harry...". You very much nailed her tone.
I do wonder, however, whether the Dursleys would allow Ron and Hermione to stay over. Other than that, good job! I look forward to reading more.

What a web you are weaving. I really like the way you are writing the characters. Ron isn't bafoonish, Harry is still a coward when it comes to anything mushy, (I just want to slap him sometimes!!!), Hermione is as strong and self doubting as ever. I adore the way you wrote Ginny, calm, cool, calculating and collected. She has a plan, baby. She got Harry once by being coy, she can do it again! You stuck to canon very well and I can't wait for the update. You are now in my favorites!!!

Author's Response: Hey, thanks a bunch. I love the positive reviews. I'm actually well into the second chapter. It's a tad angsty but it is, afterall, a Harry PoV chappie. Poor angsty H-Man. And no, Molly didn't forget Harry's birthday. My brother pointed it out before I posted.

It's really well written in my opinion, very close to canonity... I mean it's not cliche and all, you know the characters are very much the same, not a lot of flaws and all, that's why I like it. OH and, True Blonde7, visit the Mugglenet Beta Boards, and browse on the "Beta Services, for Sale or Rent" forums, there's some people that are willing to be Beta's there.
