Chapter: The Power of the Quill

Ohh haha.. how sweet. That made me smile, however unlikely it is.

Btw, Connor is the name of one of my best friends... I just noticed that.

Author's Response: Thank you for reading, and I'm glad you liked it! Yeah, a couple years ago, my best friend and I were fighting over the name "Connor Landon". We each wanted to name a future son that name, so I thought I'd take it first and use it as a fanfiction name! Yea, I like it too!

Aww, that was sweet! I liked it. I was just looking to see if you had any other fics as well as 'I dont do snogging', because ... I'm not sure, I was just pretty bored, I guess. And then I saw you had a one shot called "the power of the quill", and I knew I had to read it - I myself have a one shot called "the art of the quill", which also happens to be Marauder based ... cool, huh? Anyway, moving on from that, I loved this! It was so ... good! (lack of adjective syndrome, forgive me). And the thing about randomly thinking of it while trying to get to sleep made me laugh, too - that's exactly the story behind most of my fics! Scary, isn't it ...?

Author's Response: Wow, it's scary how alike our thinking is! I have another fiction that just grabbed ahold of my brain as I was getting out of bed the other morning. I wasn't even conscious yet, I think. ;) Leave a comment when (if) it is approved!! I'd be interested in what you have to say about it. Thanks for your reviews!

hey, cute Idea. I would have loved to see a little more of the in between stuff. Like the warnings Alice gave and how James felt about it all, but all in all, it was a fun and light read.

Author's Response: Thank you! I've only gotten a few reviews for this story, so your feedback is very nice. If you like the in-between fluff, you should check out my other story, "Life's an Hourglass". There's plenty of fluff in one chapter to cover both of my stories!

What a sweet, poetic idea! It has a sort of "You've Got Mail" ring to it. The handwritten message really does open up a much more personal realm between people. I can see why you went on to write the more recent fiction that really lets these characters express their emotional differences and come to terms with their previous dislike.

As sweet as this tale is, it is short, admittedly, and doesn't have the breadth to give fullest satisfaction in terms of the change in Lily's feelings and James's actions as we could wish. However, do not take that as a negative. It was well done.

Author's Response: Wow, what an awesome review! Thank you! I definately DO NOT take it as an insult. (Maybe I should, but I don't...) Yeah, I didn't want to develop the feelings between them too much, because I like to leave some things up to the reader's imagination. Thank you again for reviewing, I appreciate it!

Chapter: The Power of the Quill

Awww, this is so SWEET! ^_^ A cool idea on how they might have gotten to really know/like each other... It's a really good idea, I don't think Lily would have been interested in "Prongs" at all if she'd known who he was from the beginning. That would have been a nice way to introduce each other, not as the fiery redhead and the arrogant jerk. I liked the part where they were like "He could be Severus Snape for all we know" and then they all made faces, that is exactly the way a group of teenage girls would react! Anyway, loved the fic, I might check out your other one!! 10/10!!!!

Author's Response: Yay! Thank you for the review! Now THIS is the kind of review I've been waiting for!

That was so good! It enthralled me from the start and I couldn't stop reading! I can't wait to read other stories by you.

Author's Response: Thank you! This was kind of like a burst of inspiration when I was stuck with a chapter in my other fic "Life's An Hourglass"--which I'd love for you to check out if you have the time. I'd be interested to read your feedback on what I have written so far. Thanks again for reviewing! They truly make my day!
