"Ladies First"!!! Did you that's the reason good guys finish last? Lol! Sorry, I have a very crude sense of humor!
Author's Response: I like the way you think. :D
This is the kind of romance that reality doesn't even come close to. In the first place, I am lonely for my big dogs. I can remember the feel of a big dog, laying his head in my lap, snuggling up beside me in bed. Thank you for helping me remember that. You'd think I'd want to remember being next to my husband but I have fonder memories of my dogs. And, I don't regret saying that. I loved the scene when Snuffles brings Cami the rose. I actually went "awww" out loud. Of course, Fynn came running over to be confronted with the question "Where's my flower, Fynn?" He just looked at me and wagged his tail. When Sirius came back at the end--well that was wonderful. I knew he was going to say "Ladies first." Excellent story. Perfect reading for a Saturday evening.
Reality has its own magic, :D, and can be stranger than fiction (which is why that phrase exists, heh) but I have fond memories of lovable big dogs, too, although none brought me flowers! That's where the Animagus-lover benefits start kicking in. ^_~
Tell Fynn he's being immortalized in fiction . . .it just hasn't posted yet on this site.
I found the conversation in the apothecary highly amusing, nice to know that wizards and witches don't get out of all embarrassing situations. And Cami's neighbours noticing her peculiar pet gave me a little jolt, what if Sirius was discovered? but the ending made me all tingley.
Author's Response: Sirius at the train platform in OotP gave me a jolt! He's so reckless, but that's one of his endearing traits. :D
Cami's last name is Llewellyn? Isn't that the name of the ward that Arthur Weasley stayed in in OotP? ;) I only remember that because I finished that chapter yesterday.
You are seriously an amazing writer. This one-shot makes me wish Sirius could come out of my computer and be real.
Author's Response: Yes, it is, but I gave her the name because I wanted something Welsh and like a Brit designer Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen. :D.
Thank you for such a lovely compliment, and if it ever happens, let me know if he's as scrummy in person as he is on the written page! :)
It's soooo romantic! I love it!
Author's Response: That's not just your fever talking, is it? :D heh. I hope you're feeling better, because your reviews sure make me feel good!
I really liked this one-shot; Sirius deserves a little happiness! And it was rather amusing that he was afraid he'd "lost it," though believable at the same time. I can see him being a bit insecure about it, especially with someone he loved.
Just one thing, this story's in the Remus/Tonks category. You might want to move it...
Author's Response: Thank you, and I've been conflicted about what category to place the Cami/Sirius one shots, because they're inspired by the Remus/Tonks series. When I thought you could put your stories in more than one after they were approved, I put OP and R/T, but sadly, you can only have one now.
how very romantic. it makes me fall for Sirius though i had never thought i would love him this much. i just wish i was cami
Author's Response: She's a lucky witch, isn't she? :D Thank you!
very interesting. but just so u no, i found it in the lupin/tonks category. isn't that the wrong one?
p.s. is the title suppose 2 b like the kelly clarkson song?
Author's Response: Yes, the title is based on the song. :) They only let you put your story in one cat, (I originally had it OP/ RT before I found out) so because this is a one shot based on a story in my Remus/Tonks series (A Wolf in the Moonlight, to be exact) that's why it's here. I'd love you to read the other Cami/Sirius stories A Dog's Life, Sirius in the Moonlight,(A Moment Like This was the third) Spring Fever, and Off the Leash.
..............I'm lost for words (which doesn't happen often!)This was great! Now I feel all fluttery, Bubbles, the reciptionest was also in a tale of to matchmakers? or they just had the same name? Great story ;)
Author's Response: It was Bubbles' evil twin, hehheh. Actually, I figured before she worked for Morty, she tried the photographer assistant gig in Matchmakers. :D
Ooooh, that was so romantic...*sigh*
Sirius is so sexy...
Anyways, *snaps out of daydream* that was a great story!! I liked it!
Author's Response: He is very sexy indeed...and there are a couple of more stories, Spring Fever and Off the Leash if you get the urge for another 'Sirius' fix! :D
Wow.. I loved it! I had read it yesterday & I had my semi-final Biology test today. I screwed up, actually. I woke up late, missed the bus. Mum said she had been waking me extra early to study, but I had been dreaming of a certain dark-haired guy.. Hehe, very pathetic, especially as the fic shows him at my mum's age (Ew! Siriu. Mum. Not the best combination of vocabulary). :D anyway, I loved it! I'm reading A Wolf In The Moonlight. (& Listening to Duran Duran's Serious. :D Hungry like the wolf is next. )
Author's Response: Yay for you listening to Duran Duran while you read (their best song imho, lol). Sirius is fab and thought fab by women of all ages (excepts mums, who shall be thought of as maternal only, in order to prevent bleeding eyes and blinding headaches. :D) I hope you did well on the Biology test and thanks so much for reading!
Yeah, Remus does give the best advice, doesn't he? One sexy man giving another sexy man advice that's lets the second sexy man get the woman he loves...yeah, I'd say that's about right. : ]
Author's Response: Huzzah for sexy men getting the women they love...so much better than sexy men, alone and depressed! :D
4 words: If only Harry knew! LOL! 10/10
Author's Response: ROFL over that! Aint it the truth, aint it the truth! :D
"Ladies first."...in THAT context?
Author's Response: I prefer to leave the context to reader imagination....which I trust to be quite vivid....^_~
I want to read more stories about these two! You capture them as well (if not better) than you do Tonks and Remus. And my goodness it's sweet!
Author's Response: If you like romantic!Sirius, :D, you might like Semi Charmed Life, my Sirius/Rosmerta Marauder Era romance under the general cat. I think Sirius is sweet, as well as a bit moody and broody and snarky at times, because of his family, and contrarian ways. Sigh. Why did Jo have to make him fall behind the veil. Why? *sobs*
Oh yes, forgot.....Thank you very, very, very much! ^_^
Author's Response: Do you like Marauder Era Sirius stories? I've got a romance in the General cat Semi Charmed Life that you might enjoy reading! ^_^
Just saw a plan to add Jan to your next chapter. You really should, I may not take French (or understand it a lot of the time) but I love it when Tonks or one of them stops in, I feel like she and her husband have...disappeared.
b-day countdown: 5 days!
Author's Response: Merci for liking the bits of French! Actually, Jan will be mentioned in 20, but won't be seen until the next fic. This one is gearing up to the concert/climax, and Christmas Eve party ending. In story time, there's only 16 days from start to finish (aside from the Christmas Eve ending) so seeing Jan a couple of times wasn't so bad, it's just that there's an awful lot that happens in those days. :D
Ooooh, that was lovely. A true piece of literary art. I just felt all warm and fuzzy inside reading all you wrote about Sirius...*sigh*...I love him so.
Author's Response: Yay you love Sirius! Maybe you'll read my MWPP fic whenever I can put it in the queue. :D If you're warm and fuzzy, I'm warm and fuzzy!
Hey, thought i'd actually review the sirius one-shot since i did read it. sometimes i fear i am going crazy cause i've been so busy lately, but i will try to stay on top of my reviews, lol! yeah, it is fun to see how differently sirius and cami do things. and you're right, they DO need to live like every day could be their last, because, alas, that day will come. darn it. by the way i love how you can create a brand new character, like cami, and twine her in with all the canon characters; your skills are awesome. if you ever publish anything i will definitely read it! again, i'm so excited for the series and for cami, sirius, tonks, and remus! hey, we're watching pride and prejudice in ap english! we just started it and i already love mr. darcy! anyway, GREAT JOB! au revoir, mon ami! (had to get some french in there somewhere!) adieu!
Author's Response: Your French makes me determined to have more Jan in the next story. Chocolate is a good substitute for...lots of things...isn't it? LOL. Thanks for the kind words, and for reviewing! ^_^
It's definitely a good thing to be a romantic! ^_^ Hehe.
Author's Response: Takes one to know one! (and that's a very good thing too!)
