I think you have beautiful writing skills and have enjoyed the story so far.
However, i find it hard to believe Lily Evans, a character portrayed as a exceptionally smart and all-together in all HP books, being in such a abusive relationship. Also, the 'drink-fuelled' parties ocurring right under Dumbly's nose seems unlikely. James Potter seems too good to be true which i find quite sinister....lol, nah im kidding, but truly it is written well and i hope to see u writing more proffessionally one day, good luck with the rest of the story.
Author's Response: it was classified under AU, due to such changes. i wanted to put two characters i know and love into a heart-wrenching situation. while it doesn't perfectly coincide with jkr's canon portrayals of lily and james, i tried making them my own and coming up with something a bit more original than, 'wow, lily hated him one minute and loved him the next.'

I know that writing fanfics have become less and less of a priority for you (which is totally understandable), but you're keeping your readers hanging off of a cliff! I've added this to my favorites. If you're not writing for yourself, do it for your readers! Keep up the great work.

I've only just read this story (Potter's Charm was the first fan fic I ever read, and when I stumbled upon it again earlier I thought I'd check out the rest of your stories) and I'm totally hooked. You write beautifully.
I could actually feel the dread increasing as she met Michael again! And I'm so relieved she ran after James.
You can't leave it too long without updating! I'm desperate to know what happens between Lily and James!
Sheesh, exams. You'd think that exam boards don't actually care for our mental well being, wouldn't you?
