First of all, I loved it. Secondly, I can’t get the smile off my face. The twins, being who they are, and Ron, being who he is, I can see the scene perfectly.
Giving the book to the twins was a stroke of genius, and allowing Snape to read and recognize the results, wonderfully done.
I think the Half-Blood Prince’s spells and potions would work well for the twins. They would find thousands of uses for the things written in the margins of that book.
I did like that Severus was grading the papers with a clear bias. I’m sure a lot of the teachers do it, whether it’s shown or not. I was happy to see him trying not to laugh in the staff room. He would ruin his somber reputation if he was found.
Excellent story, I imagine I’ll be smiling for the rest of the day. ~RHM

The thought was great, but the plot was quite confusing.

that was good..but it got a bit long winded in the middle. I love your take on Snape though, never really thought of him in that way!

Lol! I love the idea of the Weasley twins owing their success to the Marauders, and the Prince! :D And I'm glad Severus could get some enjoyment out of Roonil Wazlib's paper!
This is one of the fluffier parts of the series, and yet it fits in perfectly, and really makes for a fun read!

Author's Response: Thanks! Every now and then a little fluff is good. I giggled through writing this one.

Ha! No wonder the twins are so good at causing trouble. They've gotten help from all of the greatest troublemakers of the previous generation. But they found a better use for their skills.

This was really very amusing! Well done!

Author's Response: Thanks! I had such fun writing this one.

ahhhh! So the twins were inspiried by another textbook from the Half-blood Prince. Well done. Quite amusing. I especially liked that McGonagall let it pass for the humor of it, and Snape seems to be enjoying the laugh as well.

At first I didn't understand why the section with the twins at the beginning was included, but I guess it was to see Snape in the joke shop. Unusual, yes.

Cheers for the laugh.

Author's Response: I'm glad that was good for a laugh; the humor category always worries me a little. McGonagall was actually telling Ron that if his spelling skills had fallen so much over the summer, he needed a spell-checking quill, but he wasn't getting it because he thought he had one. That was hard to write. I'll have another look. Thanks for the review!

I enjoyed this very much. I laughed, not hard, but it was good!! =)

Author's Response: Thanks! This was a fun little fluffy thing to write, too, though the twins and Ron were a little bit of a challenge. I hadn't tried writing them before. For some reason it just occurred to me to wonder, if Ron's book said "Roonil Wazlib" in it when he'd bought the thing in fall, and he didn't notice that on his paper until Hermione spotted it in spring, just how many times he'd turned in an unchecked and undetected essay and just assumed Snape hated him...

Well, I'm still grinning. And I nearly choked trying to stifle the laugh when I read the beginning of Ron's essay. The roomie's writing a paper, you see.

Fred and George's little intro was great--just like them! And of course, the 'Dawn of Time' essays which poor Severus has to suffer through all the time. That got another giggle, mind you.

"Quite possibly, Professor Snape would not exist — and wouldn’t that be a great loss to the world?" Indeed, 'twould be a terrible thing! I'm glad all of his work creating spells is at least going to the good use of wizard-kind. Imagine if they all three went into business together. Oh, the plot bunnies! Or ferrets. :)

Author's Response: The roomie's writing a paper? Ah. Sometimes the timing just works. My spouse is a college professor and helps with those little excerpts of student writing.

Personally I'm hoping that just as Harry's 'most useful spell' was taught by his least favourite professor, the spell or item that causes Voldemort's eventual downfall will be from the Prince line. I would love to see the Dark Lord distracted at a crucial moment by rapidly-growing toenails. (Oh, the plotbunnies!!!) Thanks for reviewing!

lol v gd. Nice to think the twins had help from the Gryffindor and Slytherin troublemakers of the seventies. I wonder who else has got their hands on the Prince's textbooks.

Author's Response: I don't think he let go of them lightly, somehow. His background is too impoverished for him to be the sort of person who readily leaves things lying about to be stolen. If he left a Potions book about, there's something major going on in his head, I think, or that was a second copy (in my head, it's the latter.) But if the idea has given you a plotbunny, go for it! I'd love to read a few new Prince pranks. Thanks for reviewing!
