I feel sorry for her, because she's so lost. She's come to expect only temporary, physical pleasure -- she's more or less given up on anything real and solid. She's alone. Well done, by the way!

Author's Response: Yeah, I do think the same way as you. She only got together with Ron because she wanted a new boy-toy, but she actually fell in love with him. Wounds are always more painful when you don't see them coming.

Wow! I'm a Ron/Hermione shipper but wow...This made me almost hate Hermione a little bit! While reading the books I could never hate Hermione but JKR never put Lavender in as someone who has feelings, she just made her like a silly, giggly vain girl, but you showed her feelings in this very realistically. Wow...okay I will stop saying that! :)

Author's Response: I'm a Ron/Hermione shipper too and I got annoyed with Lavender when I read the book, but then after thinking about it a bit, I felt sorry for her, because Ron was just using her all along to get Hermione jealous. Even though JKR made Lavender a brainless floozy, I think she's still entitled to emotions.
